While the latest episode was somewhat preachy and dry, the story progresse nicely and the performances do improve episode by episode, and so is the script. Still no great shakes but a refreshingly positive and warm-hearted little show. I am gonna miss it once it is over.
lol.. i have nothing against anson.. but you are so irritating. .. i fyou have to get to specifics.. anyone who…
You are the prime example why a large chunk of BL commenters should have some substantial educational training about alcohol consumption, this show would probably receive less hate. You all clearly seem to believe it works the way it is portrayed in most BLs. This series is actually the first where drinking and its effect and aftermath are treated realistically.
I also like the brother's couple but I truly feel sorry for the dad for living with the crazy lady all his life.
While I disagree with his labels, I cannot see much invective in that comment. He is simply tired of discussing the same hotel room scene over and over again with folks who have nothing else to say that "it was rape, shut up". I share his ennui.
Smart, enjoyable, funny, exceedingly well-written and acted. Entertaining plot, good pace, amusing dialogue, snappy direction and so far extremely interesting characters from the main leads to the very last of the side ones. Being in a relationship or possibly even married to each other for 6 years and bringing up a kid together who they have had via surrogacy, while one of them being still closeted to his parents seems a bit tall, but not entirely unbelievable, considering he lives far from his folks. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two episodes. Kudos to all involved.
Two charming, cute, wistful, melancholic anecdotes so far. A little underdeveloped but well-made and acted, and quite ingeniously writeen within their limits.
If Saymork loves Aoey and cares for him so much, he could have started his care by standing up for him in front of his horrible family, especially that pisshead father. That would have probably meant more for Aoey at that time than running after him, and kissing him on the street where no one saw them.
These are the same people that think writing fictional things means you support said fictional things irl so I…
And teens for sure should not learn about consent from ignorant, sex-phobic spinsters who do not know the difference between consensual drunk sex and rape lol.
I think one of the important topics concerning the use of alcohol and its relation to sexual assault is that most…
The whole rape-not rape debate is entirely ridiculous from the moment they had a lucid and eloquent conversation, mutual acknowledgment of XS knowing where he was and what he was doing, having a mutual love confession and above all, XS BEING THE ONE WHO INITIATED THE SEXUAL INTERCOURSE with kiss on the lips and arms around neck (sorry for my block capitals, I hate shouting, but I am so sick of this). It is mind-boggling that after so many weeks you still have to argue with supposedly grown-ups (I don't mean you) about this. I seriously despair for extinction of human comprehension skills.
If you think this show is romanticising rape, stalking and perpetuating the idea that men can’t be sexually…
The cherries on the top are the cringeworthy twonks who admittedly dropped it long ago and they proudly proclaim they are here for virtue-signalling only.
So Arthur used to be an over-protective boyfriend who always took care of Jeno as if he was a kid, and he bought him things all the time. Then they broke up and he started bullying him, beating him and kicking him. I know there is supposed to be a Jekyll/Hydte thing, but this seems rather farfetched and unconvincing to me.
Also, I don't get why Paper reacted to their kiss with Sky the way he did. Does not he feel the same way? Then why did not he say so? If it is is mutual then what it was? Gay panic? It did not seem that way. Homophobia seems non-existent in this show anyway.
