I didn't expect to get glued by this drama. At first, I thought. Here another being demoted salaryman to factory trope. And of course a villain vice director who gonna overtake the parents company.

But then when he arrived at the factory, he was incharge of being GM of the Rugby team. LMAO. The rugby team is so weak so of course he gonna make it successful (instead of making the company successful like others). Despite having a lot of "typical predictable" Jdrama elements, for the drama being a sport drama about rugby with the ML's wife as narrator actually refreshing. Watching GM managing the team using his business knowledge is refreshing. I was hooked and able to finish it withing a day. Also the final twist is good. 8.5/10

Talking about useless plot one after another. Each ep, the cases are so ... meh. And when they take 2 cases, 1st case usually get push away. Also why she needs to be soaking wet to time travel when she can actually travel back with just little splash like in one of the ep. 4/10

The typical eccentric FL who is so rich she has connection that she can do anything she wants like opening french restaurant but her management is a recipe of disaster and yet at the end of the day, they still prevail. This drama basically follow the trend of building up progress of the characters of the organization (In this drama a restaurant) in every ep. The worst thing about this drama, those thing are not suppose to work in real life but of course this being a fantasy, it gonna works somehow every ep. Shison Jun character Kawai is the most useless and annoying. He even able to overtake Satomi character as the most annoying. They are forcing the comedy with the useless trope. The only good thing about this drama is actually the other people inner talking head that speak the truth. It save this drama from being a total dud. 4.5/10

My only problem with this drama is that the Lead duo did not carry the show. They were outshone by the side character Kanemoto and Fujikawa. I found those 2 seniors comedian story far more engaging than the leads. But I would say for Agatsuma to get to know reality that he is kinda suck is quite refreshing. Not a bad drama overall but I found it boring some times. 6/10

People need to realise the plot is based on the real event that really did happened. Like the director, Muranishi Toru did got jailed many times including in Hawaii. I will say learning about Japanese Porn industry from this drama is very interesting. But I do feel the plot is a bit rush. Also if you can't take upper body nudity than this is not for you. 7/10

This is pretty much like any other bartender/izakaya master drama where the person listened to the customer and served the customer drink/food that suit the mood. The only problem is the Lead Yuki is boring and the stories are pretty average to boring. 5/10

Apparently redflag, toxic, conflict or villain plot is not needed since all these delulus BL watcher want a happy with no conflict plot. That is what making BL stagnant and boring. I see this trend is happening in mainstream show fans and nowadays sadly even Video game is getting backlash for promoting villain. Mostly coming from GenZ. And from I have gathered, when I asked why you guys want such a rosy plot, they said they have so many trauma in real lives, they just wanna escape to sweet fantasy.

Me neither. I watched it months ago and didn't understand the hype too. I only rated it 5/10. Like cool concept but poor execution

So this drama is realistic, depressing and very very slow. It should be really sad but instead of feeling sad, I feel disgusted by all the stupid decisions made by Toko. And Kasumi's acting is very one note. I feel she is projecting same facial expression in every drama I watched her in.

This drama is falling into the same seasonal Jdrama trap. Overuse of same troupe over and over again. But what make this drama more watchable than something like Doctor X is that the outcome can still varies a bit. Of course it still predictable and Kobayakawa is still annoying with Torami still baby sitting him. The new characters looks like they gonna shake the drama a little bit but in the end, they just fall flat. Like Odajima should be an interesting character. SHE WAS in ep1. But as the drama progresses, she just become boring and predictable. I was still however, quite enjoying this. so 6.5/10

Sissy boys? LMAO. Welcome to Japan where their male standard is 180 degree from yours. Just because they dont look like a masculine type they are sissy. They are the standard Japanese men that Japanese woman desire. They probably more masculine and real man than you. really

Coffee & Vanilla is basically your basic shoujo manga. It covers all the basic base of shoujo manga
- Pure weak FL
- Strong ML with some bad sides
- Multiple Side male interest
- BFF who also likes FL ML
Basically nothing exciting about this drama. Basic plot. Basic acting. And the plot is not even executed well to get an average or decent score for me. The side males characters are so just "there" they not even shaken the FLML relationship

How this get a 8.3? I knew when GMMTV BL rated so high on here, it is just good to be true.
The script is so weak. It is trying so hard to be LGBTQ ally but the issue they are fighting for like the protest (Cmon. That school uniform is not a school problem. they should protest against the ministry of education). and Chadok and Dika to spiral over Director's comment of them should behave in school .... really? It just looks like they just need to relate common issue with discrimination for LGBTQ. Doesnt matter if they actually really have real impact or not. so many weak plots and it is dragging for 12 eps. 4/10

It was different kind of plot indeed. The power of internet viral is scary. And some of the plot is totally unpredictable. I laugh so hard when her past with her ex past was revealed. However, not gonna lie, it kinda get boring midway and pickup only last 2 eps. 6.5/10

Even after so many years, the fact that the plot of hospital politic, power and money is still relevant to Japanese society is actually alarming. This is a fine drama about a villain who is the main character that meet his life lesson in his final life. Not as impactful as the 2000s adaptation.

Some people think this is as good as GTO ... SMH.
This drama has very generic plot. The only thing that is not generic is the main character, a gay cross dresser teacher. The students plots are just your typical HS drama plot which if you have watched hundreds of them, you dont feel excited. It just a reskin with little tweak of characters.

Generic yet I still entertain most of the time. The most turns off for me is how creepy is Igarashi toward An. 7.5/10
