It was not as bad as some people commented. Was the police annoying? absolutely. I like the plot. But the way the plot is going ... very Japanese indeed. Still I was enjoying this. Maybe because it is short. 7/10
When I saw Yamada Ryosuke character, 1st thing that came to my mind ... nah not another seigi no mikita kind of new cop. BORING. Then Tanaka Kei character being the unconventional cop that always break the rule as his partner ...generic. But then it goes into comedic root ... LMAO. I laugh. They were repeating the same formulaic episode in the first 2 episodes and I was like even comedy cant save this from being boring but they break the cycle in 3rd ep. I was enjoying this more than I thought I would. 7.5/10
If you dont have anything else to watch, this is good to kill time as the drama is mid at best. Nothing really excited. It just another Jdrama with mid plot. 6/10
At first I was like ... not another dotting parent, naive children trope. When the dad announced he goings to same college as his daughter ... I was like gross. And when the daughter just accepted it ... it makes me went "aaah. this type of drama"
But ... it went into comedic route which I was unexpectedly enjoying it so much. I keep laughing watching the entire drama. What I like is how different the friends characters. Still I wish the daughter has more dimension in her characterization. She feels very generic. 7.5/10
The drama is cut short due to Miura Haruma's death. It looks like it has potential but tbh it can go both way Still for what is, I was enjoying the drama. 6.5/10
The plot of secret team formed by the prefecture police team just to infiltrate dangerous organization is pretty common. ML is kinda anti-hero but he is so not likeable. This drama is not bad. Short and not dragging but the twist and turn is very predictable. I still enjoy it though. 7/10
This is pretty much drama of HS girls discussing about love and sex. Some people might find some of the plots disturbing but let not pretend those HS girl IRL did act like that.
I dont have problem with the plot but I have the problem how it is executed. I got 2nd hand embarrassment most of the times watching this. The direction can be a little bit faster because for a 25min drama, it feels longer than that. 5.5/10
If this is based on true story ... Im impressed by the culprit. Watching Murata ... I dunno how those people fall for his conmanship but I do see some people who can easily persuaded into those con IRL. Also the fact most of his victim kinda mentally ill ... scary and those gore scene is expected from Netflix. Pretty disturbing Also the twist ... NGL i kinda can tell but I bet most people still shocking. Still do I like the drama? Not really. But was it bad? not really either. This is definitely not everyone cup of tea. 6/10
A lot of people share the same opinion as yours. I saw a lot of comments on social media where those who didn't like the Thai version found this watchable (me included)
This drama is not bad and it ends at ep9. Netflix has this as 10ep and that last ep is mostly just flashbacks. like 95% of them. LMAO.
Japan is champion of dry romance. The romance is so dry ... like usual and Im used to it. LMAO. But given that most Japanese marriage is called Transaction marriage, it does make sense since romance is just secondary element of this drama.
The real element is Mei, the FL who is bad doing housework and ace in her company and her sales area, only to be dethrone one of the possible love interest Todokoro.
The fact she has more than 1 love interest in this drama yet the romance is still dry is something unique to Japan. Haha. I do enjoy this drama though. 7.5/10
I guess because it is short that it does not dragging the plot.
Ex police turns into private detective turns into someone who fulfill the last wishes of terminal ill person. Although it is more like bringing the sick person to destination they want. Each person has their own story to tell and it somehow connecting the story from one another
Idk what happened, their chemistry is weird hahaha. I mean Kanade's actor is not a bad actor, i watch him in KingOhger…
Nobody expects toku to have good acting. It is kid show. So even bad acting will not looking that bad. But drama is different. I dont think their acting are bad but I do think Kanade's actor mostly has 1 expression that he always uses which is keeping his eyes wide open for every reaction. But other than that, I am fine with their acting. pretty standard for Jdrama especially the dead fish kiss, Jdrama specialty.
But I cannot pass the obvious propaganda behind making the hospital's pharmacist to be seen as someone that really important. Im not a doctor or pharmacist but let be honest, how many hospital pharmacist is like Aoi? Do drug store/pharmacy pharmacist really that bad? in my real experience as patient (well not in Japan obv), Hospital pharmacist rarely involved with patient beyond the dispenser counter. Unlike pharmacy's pharmacist, they actually do a lot more small talk with patient. Also doctor is not absolute. I watch doctor and pharmacist in the hospital arguing about med dosage. So maybe this issue is more prevalent in Japan.
Also yes, someone like Aoi that focusing on just 1 patient is not ideal. Hospital admit a lot of patient in a day.
Hahaha. A comedic Police Jdrama. It was done so well. At first it kinda feels a bit repetitive on how they always choose the easiest target and unlikely be the main suspect but after few eps, they mixed it up which I really appreciated.
I cant stop laughing watching the entire drama. Usually when it is comedic Police drama, it always about a group of useless police lead by smart police who chose the most functional one as his/her partner. But this is just about 2 Detectives who likes to slack off work but they actually brilliant detective.
Also I love Tsukiga and Ikiri bromance. Despite them being just supporting role, they really play important role as Takano and Yonaka rival. They just dont write them as incompetent, it just they Tsukiga is super unlucky.
You can found this internationally in an App call Dramawave. If you dont want to spend money, just do the daily eps unlock with watching ads. I think 20eps for whole app per day

2nd half is better
The conflict can be written better. and Genki's acting is mid. 6.5/10
