On To Heal the Heart Jan 28, 2025
Not a bad drama. I think the plot is really great but something about the execution feels a bit weak for me. It didn't get me hook. 6/10
On Raise de wa Chanto Shimasu Jan 26, 2025
The plot is wild. While sefurune is not something new in Japan, the topic often only discuss in a single relationship. While the FL is a sex craved woman with 5 different partner, the other characters in the office have interesting plot with different sexual topic as well. The fact this drama didn't only focus on the FL is what make this interesting and funny too. Also if anyone thing should they pick this up or not because of the plot, don't worry because the drama is not explicit at all. 7.5/10

I just finished episode 6 after taking a break and letting the series finish, and the preview to the next episode…
it took me 2 months to finish this. There are so many questionable execution of the plot especially medical scene. Im like ... this is 2024 and Thai BL still think that those scene will work in real life? Those people will be long dead if that is how you treat them in real life. And I kinda over with useless bodyguard in Thai BL. If you are John Wick maybe those people are useless but against amateur thieves? really? also sloppy missions and actions. Either people have low expectation for BL or they have not watch a lot of action movies/series to gauge how good or bad is the screenplay.

I think you're overgeneralizing a bit. While endurance and patience are important in Japanese culture, they don’t…
It is not misinformation. You clearly think you know a lot of Japanese culture but u know nothing. As someone else here said, there are a lot of interviews and documentary regarding this since many decades ago. And you think I know about this because I watch Jdrama 20 years ago? The fact you think so shallow about my knowledge about this giving away your overall knowledge

I dont think you are over simplified the sexless culture part. While it is not exclusive to Japan, the sexless culture in Japan is indeed very exclusive to Japan. I remember 20 years ago when I watch Jdrama, I was so shocked to see the couples in the drama slept in different beds when they just got married for few years. Like in other culture, married couples would be sexless after perhaps 20 or 30 years of marriage. Not 3 years of marriage. I was also shocked to learn at the time most couples in Japan would stop having sex after getting kid. The sexless culture was so bad in Japan to the point if the wife caught the husband having sex with sex worker, they are not considered cheating because no emotion is involved. At first I thought sexless only happened to marry couple. But then I came a cross a video of gay youtuber in Japan telling the story how he and his bf broke up after being sexless for few years. It is then I realised the culture has turned from bad to worst in Japan that it affect not only married couple, but anyone in a relationship.

So if im understand this correctly.
1 is hetero couple in sexless relationship
another 1 is gay couple in sexless relationship
The horny ones from each couple will involve in NTR
Sound like a classic NTR Jdrama to me

Title Time
The plots are everywhere. The connection is not established between the time.
also the none of the actors can act
3/10

I enjoyed it when I watched it a few years ago. it could be because it's based on a manga that you feel that way?
I think it is the predictable and cliche plot + FL super cringe character that make me feel that way. Maybe her character works better in manga.

Title Homeroom
This drama has a lot of disturbing elements. Well mostly perversion. They also tackle other elements like lesbianism. rejection, bully, obsession, etc.
The teacher is obsessed with one of his students.
The student is also obsessed with the teacher.
Then there are a lot disturbing things that obviously unacceptable in our society.
When I watch a drama with plot centered in negative theme, I want it to go all the way.
The level of craziness going up till the middle, then it just went to predictable and meh route.
The ending is disappointing because yeah, I know it going to end like that. I want to go crazier till the end. I was laugh with cringe after halfway through the sereis. 6/10
On About Sam Dec 30, 2024
Title About Sam
How can I say this. The story is deep but the script lack depth? Each ep is just about the member memory with the deceased. Instead of feeling moving, It feels so boring. 5/10
What I like about about this drama is the characters are more realistic than most of the Medical Jdrama out there. This does not really have the "Make believe Superior being" condescending explosive case like any other Medical drama. It might be bland to some people but I appreciate the realistic part of this drama. 8/10
On Joshi Kousei no Mudazukai Dec 18, 2024
Well sometimes, not all thing in Anime works in LA.
Tanaka might sounds funny in the anime but in LA, she is just annoying .
I like how LA is also focusing on other characters instead of the 3 girls.
The comedy is actually really good despite some scenes are not translated well in LA.
Also the homeroom teacher is actually the most sane and normal despite having josei job interview uniform fetish . 7.5/10
On An Incurable Case of Love Dec 17, 2024
Okay. I was fooled to think this going to be a great romcom drama by the comments and the rating.
This is drama is so cringe (the FL lead is giving me 2nd hand embarrassment) . The rest of the characters are okay but plots are so cliche and predictable to the point Im saying it out loud to myself in every ep it gonna happen this way and it did .... every ep. I guess the downside of watching hundreds of Jdrama you will notice there is nothing new in the plot and it keeps getting less exciting as the episodes went by. Also some of plots are questionable. Especially the asthma one. Took me days to finish this. Im definitely not the target audience. 5.5/10
On Love in the Air: Koi no Yokan Nov 24, 2024
I dont like the original LITA because they just filled the time with sex scenes rather than focusing on the plot. I thought the original was dragging so much. This version proof that those plot can be condensed into 1ep of 30min. But whichever versions, I still laugh at how cringe the 1st CP plot is. Im curious to see if 2nd CP plot is better than the original because the original was not giving at all. The business man didn't give business man aura at all and Kai in original was more of pouty seductress than a traumatized boi.
On Two Homelands Nov 14, 2024
It is good. Immigrant during war choosing side.
Some plot are predictable.
Some are good.
However, it is kinda rich for these coloniser (Japan/US/Uk etc) to ask people to remember their countrymen sacrifice during war when they the one started it. 7/10
On Sherlock Special Nov 14, 2024
People in the comment saying what is the point of this SP.
Me after watching the SP: I get it now why
The SP doesnt really adding any value except for the last scene if there is sequel (which I think it did has movie sequel?) 5/10
On Chokotto Kyoto ni Sundemita Nov 10, 2024
This is more like a docu-drama about Kyoto. I think the people in the shop who sell the products are the actual sellers. Drama wise, nothing really exciting. But educational wise, it is a good docu-drama. 6/10 considering both aspect.
