Refreshingly done. Not just a love story between the ML and FL but also between their families. This drama may appear silly on the surface ( I find it wonderfully hilarious) but it has underlying themes of filial love, family unity, imperfect family relationships and just a general exposé of flawed characters navigating life and healing emotional wounds. This is my second time watching and it stands up to the time lapse test.
Am I the only one who likes Pillowbook better than Ten Miles? Don't get me wrong, ten miles was amazing. Ye Hua…
The vibe between Dong Hua and Feng Jiu is playful and sexy. Bai Qian and Ye Hua were more serious and mature in their behaviour. I like both couple’s unique traits, but I must say I’m more intrigued by DH and FJ.
I can’t help comparing the mortal realm arc because it’s similar story wise in the two dramas. While I do…
I've read the book and really enjoyed it. I've just watched episode 24 and as I suspected, things are about to get very interesting, so I'm glad about that.
I'm living for this drama! And I'm kinda glad that I did not pay any attention to their story in Eternal Love.…
I can’t help comparing the mortal realm arc because it’s similar story wise in the two dramas. While I do agree that ELOD should be viewed independently of TMOPB, I can’t help being disappointed by the lack of passion and dramatic tension, simply because it’s the same two actors who gave us such intensely emotional performances in TMOPB. So what’s wrong here? Bad directing perhaps?
I finished it. Simple story, easy watch, however the screeching females ( maids, dancers, aunties, love rivals) were tough to take; not to mention the most infuriating second male lead I've ever come across, boy is he annoying! Story development is weak, I couldn't see at what point they fell in love with each other and why, they had zero meaningful conversations.
The female lead's best friend, mother and guy who was in love with her were so clingy and followed her everywhere and were generally too much in her business, it was so irritating.
I watched for Push initially and then I just didn't want to drop another drama. It's not bad just not great.
This remake is keeping very true to the original, however the original is 16 episodes of 1hr each and this remake is 16 episodes of 1hr 50 min each so as you can imagine there's a lot of filler scenes and these are killing the flow of the story. I'm loving the two leads though.
My introduction to Zhang Han and Zhao Liying. An entertaining drama, it was straightforward, bubbly cuteness all the way; very feel good. Perfect for many rewatches.
I’m loving the hilarious hijinks, these two are too cute! I’m on episode 10, I really hope it doesn’t go downhill. it’s the lighthearted romp I didn’t know I needed to see

You’ve given me some indication of what to prioritise on my PTW list.
