I thought this would be cringe, but thankfully it's not at all. A great movie, funny and refreshing, it takes a realistic look at adult relationships with a touch of warmth thrown in.
I've scrolled down most of the comments here and they are truly colourful and encompass a myriad of opinions and viewpoints. I for one would just like to say that when I watch a drama I want to mostly understand what I'm watching, too much head scratching is not a good thing for a drama viewer and I think that this drama might be leaving the plot exposition a little too late, let's look at it this way, our main cast don't know what's going on and we the viewers are also mostly at a loss, even when the King figures something out we don't get to experience this with him as viewers, so where does that leave us? scratching our heads and wondering why we're taking such a circuitous route to get anywhere. FYI, I won't be dropping this drama just because I'm very curious about where it's all heading.
On a side note, after reading some comments here I want to express my opinion regarding the way that I think any actor would like to be viewed, it's all very well to point out the pleasing physical attributes of actors when talking about them but I'm sure these people would like to be taken seriously at their craft, so lets also appreciate oppa's acting ability and give him the credit of a functioning brain; while we can admire six packs and dimples, let's not decide the merits or lack thereof of a drama on these things alone, because it's a waste of viewers' intellect. Just my two cents.
I kept wanting to drop this drama but felt compelled to continue watching. It's not terribly exciting but it's incredibly charming and I became so invested in the outcome of these endearing characters.
I know right. I’m not loving the main guy at all, such a jerk ( so far on episode 10) Second lead syndrome all…
I watched 10 episodes and he was still annoying. I assume he improves later on because he gets the girl at the end, but I just couldn't put myself through that. I think this show was good to watch at the time it came out in 2009. Some shows don't age well.
