Yes. That’s how I also felt too. She wasn’t in character and just felt like a passerby in that scene. I don’t think she is bad but also not great either. Her acting lack consistency. Some scenes are great and some can be overlooked however in this particularly scene the discrepancy was too much for me for me to overlook.

You see… she got all the time to form/develop a reaction from the moment PDJ got stabbed to him confessing then fainting. You and I could agree that it was weird just seeing her standing there blankly. Her delivery of her line of calling 112 also fall flats. That’s is the problem I have because of the big discrepancy in acting when the camera shifted between actors to the actress in that scene.

The drama has yet to explain this but here is my theory:

The Kidnapper aka Real BSE regained his memory after seeing the news of Grandpa’s death and wanted revenge. Since grandpa already died he can only go for the next best thing which is fake BSE so he stalked him. While stalking fake BSE, the Text Mastermind aka PJD got a whiff that there is someone else stalking fake BSE since PJD is also stalking fake BSE to get revenge for his twin brother death. PJD didn’t know that fake BSE is a fake. So he made contact with real BSE to team up. And as a government agent PJD has all the tools needed to successfully stalk and track somebody.

No, it’s the acting not writing. One doesn’t need to be attached to show emotion to someone who is feeling distressed unless you’re a psychopath. Any normal person would show some kind of reaction. All I want from her was to emote whether that is fear/distress of seeing someone dying or sight of blood, resentment that he tried to kill the one she loved, shock that he pushed her of the cliff, confusion due to the situation or urgency to help someone in need. However none of those were conveyed.

That’s the problem. Her face doesn’t show any emotion at all. No portrayal what-so-ever like give me an eyebrow raise, enlarged eye, shuttering, shakiness or just anything. Yet she was calm as water while there was a man on the ground gushing out blood. Even her delivery of calling 112 was non-emergent and flat. I was fine with her acting as a depressed expressionless girl episodes prior to this scene because that’s her character. But here we have two actors that’s emotional, I got emotional but was doused in a bucket of ice water when the camera panned to the actress. It was unsatisfying.

The stabbing scene between Baek Sa eon and Park Jae Do really showcase how amazing they are as actors. On the other hand, Chae So Bin was the weak link. When the camera panned to her, she was emotionless like she wasn’t a part of the scene. Like dang girl, I don’t need you to be amazing but at least act. 😔

I really don't mind it if it is 2-3 years down the road, then maybe their fans will be a little more excited for their re-collaboration but now is too soon. It will do more harm than good as haters will get more ammo to attack for her constantly working with "newbies" and not having enough resources for new co-star and etc.

I highly doubt it is for MK if so then we would have more celebrity who also advertise for MK to send her bday greeting. Plus they have never promoted MK together. Maybe they are planning a duet together. lmao

Hey Bubble! Almost all of the people that sent her birthday greeting are her former colleague, directors, company mates, makeup artist, KR teammates, and upcoming drama ML except for Tan Jianci. He was an outlier, the odd one. They only cross path at the Weibo event and didn't seem to be friends until after the weibo award from last year. Their public interaction so far doesn't seem like they are close friends to send birthday greetings unless they are paired for upcoming project.

So.. After seeing the birthday wish vcr, I'm going to make an educated guess. Her next male lead is probably Tan Jianci. Even though her next project has yet to be confirmed, they are probably in talks.

I think they changed the synopsis. This synopsis is more center around Ma Si Yi character then the previous one. Anyway Da Hua Zi is the other name for Xia Feng Hua.

There is no love triangle. Past relationship yes but nothing that will get in-between the couple.. She pursue to ML in order to revenge her ex for cheating. Guys are interested in her but she made it clear that she is not interested in them. She treat all the guy the same nothing more nothing less except for the ML. However there is one guy who is very persistent. People are upset that she wasn't hard/going ballistic on him enough.

The program actually received a lot of flack their obvious forced script in episode 2 that the following episodes actually suffers in rating when in fact out of all the episodes in this season episode 3 seem to be the most natural/least scripted or had better edits. The members actually showed more raw emotions or response/competitiveness. I can't say for the rest of the other episodes (cough cough episode 5 was just like episode 2, another eye roll lmao)

Ou Hao and Joseph Zheng are not newcomers. They have been in the industry longer than Bai Lu. Just because they aren’t as popular Xiao Zhan or Yang Yang does not means they are newcomers.

She also has great chemistry with Luo YunXi and Dylan Wang. Pretty much chemistrying with most drama ML so far out-to-date. Her most popular CP (couple shipping) in China is actually with Luo YunXi from Love is Sweet so popular that they end up in another drama Till the End of the Moon.
