This! Glad someone has say this. Because we the viewers were given the omniscient knowledge of TTJ behavior therefore we trust him. However this is not the case for LSS. After seeking him out multiples of time yet TTJ still is bent on giving up their love so why should she stay. This is call respect the other for the choice they are making. Look it from this perspective, if it weren’t the case and TTJ were actually sided with the devil, then based on TTJ behaviors and the things he have said, LSS would have been call dumb for continue to stick around. Yes the complaint regarding makeup has its merits so I’m not questioning about that. Nowadays most films are done with HD camera so no lighting can fix that. So either no close-up or use filters which the post-editing fails to do so on those close up. Unless the complaints meant lighting=filters, then maybe I can wrap my head around it../ I guess… Because to me lighting in films is more about how they use light to highlight/set the mood on certain scenes.

So I have seen people complained about the technical aspects of this drama such as make up, CGI, costumes, and lighting. With the makeup, CGI and costumes, I can see it in some scenes. To me the CGI is great overall. But you to know, to each their own as it all just come down to preference. However, with regard to the lighting, what is wrong with it? Is it because it’s always bright and doesn’t have a dark scene? Is it because it is light in one scene and dark in another angle of the same scene? Or it is because of the hue? Because I can’t see anything is wrong with it. Maybe it because I watch it on my phone that I can’t seem to find anything wrong with it. 🤔

According to the novel it was during the time when LSS enter the Demon realm in order to destroy the formation/save GYJW. LSS turn herself into a demon/dancing girl to get close to TTJ so that she can get something from him. TTJ wasn’t fooled and end up picking her to serve him for the night. They cultivate/did the deed which resulted in A’mi. It was hinted in the following chapter when LSS was knocked out due to TTJ’s scheme, Si Ying noticed there was something abnormal in LSS’s stomach however she didn’t want to tell TTJ in case he give up on the Devil God plan after hearing the news.
