As I was lurking on TTEOTM page and I understand that the page is now majorly occupied by LYX fans and from my previous experiences during the airing of TTEOM, some of LYX fans there doesn't view BL positively and I usually disregard it as it is their opinion. However, I came upon a not so positive post regarding BL there recently that I would like to verify with her long time fans as I only recently follows her since last year. If there are, I would like to message you.

Questions for those who followed Bai Lu before 2020 ONLY...

Don’t really know the exact detail over their lawsuit however it looks like the dispute was resolved between them so he is still in Huanyu. He signed with in 2015 so still has two more years remaining.

Depends on their connections, some are loan out free in exchange for screen time (that’s when you keep seeing their logo and how actors made comments on how good the product are) and some are loaned out at a discounted rate. Yes male lead is confirmed to be Ou Hao as linked in MDL.

Lol I mistypes. It’s actually in 2016 not 2017. Yep it was thanks for YZ’s resources that propelled her actor’s career. However if it wasn’t for her acting talent she would have been buried 4 years ago. I’m not so sure about variety pays vs drama. All pays are capped at 40% of total production budget and a per episode cap of 2mil RMB. Variety show are more easier to get endorsement investors into their budget and it is less time consuming. So I guess it is more efficient.

She signed a 10 years contract with Huanyu in 2016. The problem with YZ is that he doesn’t care whether it is good publicity or bad publicity as long as it is publicity. Along with the good publicity, lots of bad publicity is also triggered through him. He sometimes even use one publicity to push other people from his company. It’s not good for actor who want to become serious and for long- term career. It’s good as jumpstarts but not for long term based on how he manages the PR. Plus lawsuit drama where Song Wei Long sue him over “contract dispute” didn’t leave YZ any good light either.

I mean why not?? It works the same as for costume drama. The budget classification is just dependent on how much money is going to be invested in the production. Costume drama tends to require more (due to setting, costume, CGI) but it’s not like modern drama can’t spend more (just less likely) to allocate to hire more famous director/screenwriter/staffs, setting, PR and etc. Meet Yourself had to spend a month building the setting from scratch. I mean all those branded luxury cars you see in modern drama is also form of investment from other companies to drama production.

Just think it like this, right now she is directly under Huanyu so Huanyu manage her contract deals, resources and PR. However if she have her own studio she will have more freedom/input on her contract deals and PR. (Disclaimer: I’m not saying that right now she doesn’t have a voice in the company) Just like starting subsidiary company from its headquarter vs starting a new company. She will still be under Huanyu but just that she will have a group of people working for her instead of share resources from company. Huanyu still gets a portion of what she make until contract say otherwise. She still have 3 years remaining with Huanyu. If Huanyu is smart, they would allow her to get her own studio for the potential that their contractual relationship can be extended longer than three years. If not she probably should just waited out until expiration to start her own studio.

Have you watched Keep Running Season 10 ep 2 where the guest was Dylan? There was a part where Dylan was screaming near Bai Lu’s ear during a game and she was like “Oh my ear, Wang He Di,” indicating he was loud. Lmao.

Yes pretty much that is what the special season is mainly about. The Special is to promote tourism, the culture and its landscape with sprinkled activities from the guests.

Bai Lu is one of the MCs of Keep Running for season 10 and 11 so she is present throughout the episode. However if you are being selective, I would definitely recommend watching season 10 ep: 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 &12. I particularly like ep 4 because she looks amazing in that costume and was also the episode that made me go digging for the rest of the season.

Well, did Xiao Lin started drama with TTJ to have his wedding ruined and to get stabbed? Did Pian Ran starte drama with him for him to want to devour her for power? Nope. It was inferred in the drama that TTJ continues to devour demons like Pian Ran for to maintain his power. Pian Ran was lucky to escape death because he had other plans for her in the second attempt. And I agree that they undelivered for the tower scene with that 30s second holding hands spinning around junk 🤦‍♀️. Totally unnecessary. Plus she should have jumped instead of falling from the sky. With regard to the ML’s brother, he would have known that TTJ liked LSS because he was about to make her Empress so he must have liked her somehow because he never titled anyone else afterward. ML did put her in cold palace for a while (not as long as the novel) and didn’t let her get treatment for all the FL know. She was unconscious when she was seen by the doctor. So she believed that he hated her.

Stop acting like drama TTJ is most the innocent character there ever to exist. Yes, the drama did tone down his evil deeds compared to novel as he was irredeemable in the novel. But still, drama TTJ was flawed and questionable. He also scheme against other. He bid his time and executed his revenge. It not like he didn’t take any action to those that harmed him. Yes some of the situation was unfair toward him. However, none of those who harmed him gotten away (with the exception of LSS). The nanny in the palace schemed against him, so he returned the favor and allowed her to be raped. Not his fault but he could have stopped it however, he chose not to. For someone who has merit in raising him, he didn’t show her any mercy. YXW schemed against YBC with the drug (not against him), he switched the drug so that YXW took it instead. Those that hurt him when he was young got the “crow punishment”. His other nanny also was killed by him for scheming against him to save her daughter. You can say that he was justifiable in his revenge but it doesn’t mean it wasn’t evil. There are better ways yet he choose to stoop down to their level when executing his revenge. He ruined Xiao Lin’s wedding and make him got stabbed. What did Xiao Lin do? Torture porn is only when a character suffered yet still chose the morale high ground and continue to do nothing about it. It wasn’t the case for TTJ in the mortal arc.

I believe they will do it like the novel where both LSS and TTJ will die then returns as God and Goddess. 🤞🏻

All I’m saying is that because his master were never exposed to his bad sides that is why he is more inclined to trust him without doubting then LSS who have seen his good and bad sides. Just like when you have a husband who cheat on you before vs one who hasn’t. Of course you are more inclined to believe the one who never cheated with cheating accusations than someone who has. That’s not lazy writing, that’s human nature. When others blames him she still choose to trust and went to him for explanation however he end up not giving her any reason to continue trusting him.

Alright, killings his nanny isn’t bad, using the puppet spell to hurt Xiao Lin isn’t bad, devoring demons for powers isn’t bad then what is? I understand he has his reason for those however it is still bad. He was extreme with his revenge. His nanny betrayed him to save her daughter. Yes she deserve punishment but definitely not death.

I meant that when PZY asked for TTJ’s the enemy heart blood to revive XL, TTJ still have the devil bone with him. PZY was given the blood from the devil bone. It must have convoluted his thought somehow. Lmao
