No the timeline is correct. During the Song Yue Lin concert (niece mom concert) of previous eps, Shu Yi confessed to Shi Yue (real niece) that her ex cheated on her with the fake niece (not Shi Yue) so she is now pursuing the fake niece’s uncle. Shi Yue doesn’t know that Shu Yi is actually talking about Shi Yan. The uncle that Shi Yue thought they were talking about the blind date is alluding to the fake niece’s uncle. That’s why we have that hilarious convo where Shu Yi badmouthing herself when Shi Yue recounted how her uncle didn’t come to help her with the car accident.

If you pay attention to the drama carefully, there are quite a few moments where Shu Yi is confrontational. Not the hot-headed in the heated moment confrontational, just non-aggressive confrontational. 1st instance, when she saw her ex cheated, she left a piece of evidence to let her ex know she saw him cheated so that she can break up with him but unfortunately her ex beat her to it. 2nd instance is when her colleague steal her outline and interview appointment, she went to ask her boss to punish the colleague’s misdeed. She even hint that the punish her boss gave was not enough but her boss was like her misdeed doesn’t call for termination. 3rd instance, when her invitation to the conference was shredded she pointed out who the actual culprit was infront of everyone and not letting the culprit goes unnoticed. Confrontational doesn’t only mean you have to argue to start a brawl. She is not the type to be push-over

well I see it that, when she talk with her co-worker the one that sit beside her is related to work.. Let's not forget Shi Yan is also part of her work. At this point, her career is revolved around Shi Yan. She only talk about pursuing her Shi Yan to her friend, Rou San, which is normal to talk with friends. And I find gossiping is an art.. not everything is relevant and you dont know whether that info is handy now but it could be useful/news worthy later. Especially in her field of work, she has to maintain interpersonal relations as people are more likely to share information with you. As long as they aren't hurting/slandering anyone.

They aren't gossiping about private matters such as who has what for lunch or who is in relationship with who.. They are gossiping about things that related to works.. that is just normal exchange between co-workers. I don't see how that equate to being frivolous or not being serious about work. Plus gossiping is quite aligned with nature of her profession as a reporter as it is just another form to obtain news, especially being a reporter where you need info at your fingertip. Paparazzi stalk people for news. Normal people just gossip. Journalist vet those gossip before putting it out to the mass media.

Since the novel mainly focus on the main couple, I believe the drama actually will give quite a bit of screen times to second and third couples with Miles being the 2nd lead and all

No you were right, he was indeed wasn't a part of this season 11 of KR due to scheduling conflict (his concert tour) and Fan Cheng Cheng was his temporary replacement. However, he was able to work out his schedule for episode 11 and 12 to promote his concert in Thailand. Unfortunately, his scandal broke out just before the airing of those two episodes which the team had to completely erase him from those 2 episodes.

haha. That when you have an inkling that they are being pushed down the viewers throat by their backers. You know keep trying until people get use to them. Plus marketable doesn't always equate to acting skill. Could be the traffic/noise/money that these actors bring. Some already has their own fanbase from singer turned actor.

I really don't have much opinion on this as I don't really know what this drama is about and I haven't watch the APL. I'm only interested in knowing more until it is confirmed. I was burnt once when she was rumored to star in First Frost that I went to read the novel to it end up being just a rumor. lol

She started out as model for Catree. After joining YZ, she debuted as one of the main leads in a really small- low budget online web drama "Being King is not Easy". It's pretty much easy to be main lead in these type of productions as long as one have the capital as it is easy to produce these. Plus "Being King is not Easy" is a YZ production, all actors were in-house. Then she took supporting roles not even second leads in more serious production such as Untouchable lovers, Zhao Ge and etc, mind you both Untouchable Lovers and Zhao Ge were also in-house production. She gained some recognition after her role in Untouchable Lovers which propelled her to land as main lead in The Legends. Unlike ZLH, he pretty much has been mains since he started. Well, what I noticed is for most actors/actress in C-ent that belongs to a big agency or has backing will start as main leads in one or couple of projects whether big or small depending on how much they are willing to invest as an introduction to viewers. If they are deem marketable they will continue to star in main roles. Those that aren't marketable will pivot to support unless they have the backing to continue getting main roles.

This doesn't change how I feel about BL from my experiences of her from BTS/interview/variety show till now. Just that I would like to see it from the other perspective from that timeline.
