Probably not a lot of us 😂 The fact that these characters are so layered, so real, so embarrassing at times and so human (and brilliantly portrayed as such) is literally what's been drawing me in since day 1. I could watch them just navigate whatever happens in their lives for weeks more and not be bored, because they are so well written. I'm in love 😍

OMG yes!! The second-hand embarrassment was strong XD It kinda put a dent in the whole "I'm matured and grown up" vibe they were going for. Still, better this way than not at all I guess XD

I just want to say that moms’ behavior puzzled me a bit. Can’t they read their son? He was obviously trying…
SAME. Thank you.

Unpopular opinion but I couldn't take the NickBoston scene seriously. The guy was doing better, finally acknowledging…
I get where you're coming from, even though I personally received this scene vastly differently. I think the key difference for me is that it was a goodbye scene. Nick didn't stalk Boston; Boston happened to be there and Nick took the opportunity. And he talked to Boston because he knew he needed to say goodbye to truly move on, which makes it all about him and his growth as a character.
About the content of his speech, I get your point. But it also doesn't really surprise me that Nick chose to say the things he did. He's not leaving because Boston is an asshole; actually he's been in love with Boston despite how much of an asshole he is. He's leaving because Boston doesn't love him back, seemingly never will, and he has finally accepted that. So his parting words do make sense, in that context. Or at least I felt so^^
The preview featuring Boston's "character development" and a potential BostonNick's reconciliation had me very annoyed, because it does feel forced and illogical with how they've been set up so far. Fingers crossed that the writers don't mess up the writing in the last episodes X)

I'm so annoyed at this preview LOL, at BostonNick still hanging out together and Boston having a seemingly very out-of-character self-blaming session. We'll just have to see (it's just a preview) but the goodbye scene today was a masterpiece (just like the development of Boston and Nick's relationship, which was written and acted flawlessly imo) and it would have been a perfect end to it. The fact that Nick has been significant enough for Boston that Boston has grown to care about him and is moved by his words, and the fact that Nick has learnt to love and to let go, is a worthy enough conclusion to their relationship - because it has planted the seeds for individual growth, on both sides. Now I'd like to see Boston go on to achieve his dream as a photographer in the US (which is his objective since the start) and to see Nick be in a relationship with someone who might actually be willing to offer what he wants. Then maybe they could reconnect years later at a photo exhibition, or just never, and that would be just as fine. They don't need to end up together for their connexion to have been meaningful (and they need to end up even LESS together if there was nothing meaningful or good about their connexion, which is personally not my opinion).

Kill but not right now)) probably destroyed Gong clan from inside, stole all their secrets, about weapons
I think Shangguan Qian is truly (and already) in love with Gong Shangjue. The can-detect-lies-insect scene was the clue. Shangguan Qian thought the insect might really be able to detect lies and she chose to say the only thing which would (presumably) not get her bitten: that she truly loves Gong Shangjue.

I'm sorry what?
Yes okay, I understand your point; they might indeed both end up the Sword Wielder. I'm not sure if the same is at stake for each girl tough. It seems to me Yun Weishan targets a position - Sword Wielder - while Shangguan Qian targets a person - Gong Shangjue. So Yun Weishan would definitely fail her mission if Gong Shangjue ended up becoming the Sword Wielder but Shangguan Qian might not fail, whoever ends up getting the title. She was targeting Gong Shangjue already when the Sword Wielder was Gong Huan Yu, and she had no reason to think Gong Human Yu would die and Gong Shangjue might have to take his place (unless she had a hand in killing him).

Dont they say in that convo that Yun Weishan's target is the Sword Wielder so currently GongZiyu, and Shangguan Qian's target is Gong Shangjue? Isn't that exactly who they are set to marry?

LOOL thanks for giving me tips for an even worse experience 😂
I'll probably check it out before i dive into The Evidence Tells again, to remind myself that there are much worse subs out there ;)

Sailom is not an dumb kid he calculate everything befor, if you focus on storyline you will know that Kanghan…
I personally thought the scene with the teacher truly showcased the disparity between Sailom and Kanghan, and Kanghan's power within the school. Sailom was literally threatened to be deducted points (on which, I guess, his scholarship hinges) to delete the video. The school doesn't seem to care about his grades or to value him as the bright student he is, at least not when he's pit against Kanghan. I guess I'll just wait and see what the next episode brings us ;)

This! I’m on ep 5 and I’m like having to use my imagination with the subs. Such a good show so far too, I…
They're trying out a new way to engage their audience's brainpower 😂 I couldn't even go past ep 1 I'll admit, I put it on hold hoping a better translation would be somehow magically appear in the next few days 😅 I guess I'll go back to it once reality catches up. It seems like IQIyi is only a "hosting" platform for this drama but had nothing to do with its production, which would explain the crappy subs despite IQiyi being a paid - admittedly costly - platform.
