No , in Chinese traditions someone older can give you red envelopes if they want it . It's for blessing luck and…
Yes, elders as in 50 years old. I have never known of anyone young and unmarried giving out red envelopes for CNY. We usually received, even in our twenties if unmarried. Maybe different areas, but where I'm from it's unheard of.
Why are all these single men giving her red packets for CNY? From my experience only married people give red envelopes to unmarried young people for CNY.
They’re both 29 so don’t get triggered by older man/woman tag. Don’t know why it’s there.
I really hate that Age gap tag when it has nothing to do with the storyline. I think it should only be there if it's part of the storyline like in Sniper Butterfly.
Idr but she was described as someone with a “first love” face; spoiled personality; mom is wealthy. If helpful…
Have you seen Forbidden Flower? The FL dresses in alot of mini and backless sundresses. I heard it's the same director so maybe just his style for the visual of the FL. I have no issue with the way she dresses which is more realistic of teenagers today. My 15 years old dresses like that. Most of her tops show off her midriff and even in winter time!
Dang the age gap is between 5-7 years cuz she said when she was in 2nd grade he was in junior high...idk man I…
That's not true. I think it's only 4-5 years difference. And don't believe the translation of the grades. It's different from North America. I think high school in China is only 3 years.
Can someone please give me spoilers?1 Is there a love triangle? If yes, how intense is it?2 When do the leads…
As you can see, there is no romance tag so not the main focus. If that is what you're looking for, then I don't think it's for you. If you're here for friendships and wholesome relationships, then check it out.
Both of them stayed because the board were talking something about "they have to pick one person" thus…
Regardless of the outcome, I get the feeling they will figure themselves out because that was shown throughout the drama, about their growth and courage to make the right choice.
Although it would have been awesome if they have shown us what happened to them 1 year later, I was not left worrying about their future and their relationship after it ended because they have shown us they will make it work. That's my take.
Really good series with a rushed ending. I don’t normally say this, but it should’ve been a 30-episode drama.…
Absolutely agreeing with this! It would have been awesome with 6 more episodes about what their lives are like after the competition. Maybe I have time to prepare myself but I'm not that disappointed with the ending. It doesn't take away the enjoyment of the series. I love the characters and the relationships among them. Very wholesome.
