I also like to think so...but when you're literally desperate for money...this dignity that we see in other dramas…
I'm referring more to her clients reneging on payment for her services after she has spent the time to represent them. I feel so bad for her, having to chase client for payment and on one of the case, the man was like "I have no money, what are you going to do about it?" And she just let it go and the man only paid her $300 deposit, which is like $50 USD. Hence, she can't afford rent or food...She need to be smarter in collecting money.
Seems to be a thing in China as the lawyers in You Are My Fated Love were giving out free eggs as well
Such a weird fragile thing to give away. I paused at ep 10 for YAMFL. Them pretending to be someone they are not was too exhausting for me. I'll wait until they have cleared the air and be opened about their true selves.
I have to say the FL really looks like a younger version of ZLY. I see the resemblance particularly when she was styled similar to her in these photos.
Yes he fooled me too lol. All those time he kept denying it when his friend asked him and then he kept telling her to keep her distance from him. I guess seeing what his friend went though, he was avoiding her on purpose but somehow couldn't help himself.
Yes ep 16 was nice progress. They act like a couple especially with him staying at her grandma's.
I watched the preview for ep 17 and looks like she rejected him. I think the previews are misleading. Preview for ep 19, she told him to try dating and then ep 20, they have broken up. So weird.
Can someone help me understand why a lawyer and a judge can't be together? I get it if they are being assigned to the same case, then a conflict of interest. Why can't one of them work in a different court, or if there is a conflict of interest, reassign to someone else?
