Since i'm not into BL, I think I'm the only person that dropped word of honor so no comment on that. As for GJ in this drama, I think he was fantastic. DFYC is very cute, he stand for his biliefs and always stay true to himself and his feeling. Also GJ had a very good fight scenes choreography in ep 19 but somehow noone talk about it. I though it was pretty cool.

I won't mention names but they are a lot, she most likely favors senior actors/actresses from the 80+ and some of them are her favorite actor I think from the way she talked about them. Actor/actresses from 90 till now unless traffic or popular actor, she kind of just discard them, for traffic actors, she kinda of ease the tone a little bit or indirectly. You have to watch a lot of her videos to understand

Yup, I think she has a list of things background to point out based on her preference for example : immortal realms and white costume, she point that out in every xianxia review to the point we now know she's tired of that type and even if next week, there will be a 10/10 xianxia based on immortal realm,she will most likely downgrade it. There are some things she never talked about like fight scenes choreography or traditional dance, use of object like weapons, food, etc... The worst for me is that there are some actor/actresses on her list no matter how good they are, they will probably never get that 2gold mines of her.

Just finished this. Still a masterpiece, politics were phenomenal, intrigue and twist were still there, less wuxia than season 1 but with more shocking scenes. I really hope that Ming guy has another brother 😂

Adaptation is always a gamble, as long as the actors/actresses are good portraying their characters, even a crappy script can be outstanding if people get into it right away, the global viewer wouldn't even notice. Only those novel hardcore fans will compare every frame of it to the novel

Too bad, even Fox spirit 3 dropped a trailer before them just after filming. This summer is the perfect timing for them to release this drama, they loose view count and money just by holding it.
