I admire your dedication in following all those platforms just to see an update :).. and thanks for sharing it…
It's even better than simply admiration, also thanx from me 'cuz even if I wanted to, I wouldn't understand a thing since I do not know Chinese. These people are a huge help ^^
HELL YES I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE UNTAMED! And I'm currently re-watching it. And next week I'll start re-reading the novel.
What I love & hate most about it is that the ML wasn't afraid to deviate from what is considered "right" and had his own sense of justice and for the same reason I also hate it...well...more like I hate the stupid characters who automatically deem him to be in the wrong just because it doesn't fit what is considered "good" or simply because of their own selfishness/greed/motives/etc.
I truly love the portrayal of it and all the pain it causes. Well...I hate the pain, but it really does make me tear up (and not just any drama can make me tear up) and thus only speaks for how well written, directed and acted out it all is.
I was on the director's Weibo today (the link you provided) and no new pictures were shown. There are still three. But…
I can help you with the curses - it really is starting to be ridiculous as to just why won't they effing release the drama already. I think my niece was just born when it first got announced and I thought the drama would release, but now she already has not one but two younger siblings!...at this rate, she and I will be able to watch the drama together XD
I'm also of the 90's generation, but my mom definitely does not have the same picks as me for her fav actors XD
But yeah, that's one thing I kind of dislike of this younger generation of actors - they make them all look...well...pretty. Beautiful. Not handsome in a manly way, I suppose? Their beauty is more civilized and while that is not bad and I do like their looks...I miss the handsome guys of old days where you knew at once - that is indeed a man. A handsome man. There are, of course, actors who truly do act and are talented, but it's sad to see that more & more seem to be acting in dramas and movies only due to their looks (and polished looks at that) and not because they'd be good at it or talented. Eh.
It really depends what style of beard one has and whether it fits/compliments him or just makes look horrible. Nicely done, beard can be quite attractive ;)
I have seen some Taiwanese dramas and they are indeed the fresh breeze that is needed to clear one's mind from k/c-dramas and sometimes even j-dramas. The Ghost Bride is one I soooo wanna see! Maybe will finally find the time for it this week :D
Enjoy the little things in life and do whatever you want has been my motto all along, so now that I'm getting closer to 30 (I'm 27 now) it doesn't really change how I live my life - doing just fine over here and being happy about it :)
Buzzer Beat - the whole sort of not just triangle but quartet romance stuff keeps me from watching it, even though I've had my eye on it for years...maybe now being at home due to covid19 I'll finally watch it.
Gank Your Heart - I've seen that one and while it started off somewhat nice, it kept on being annoyingly...well...annoying in the middle and towards the end - the whole scheming part of it and the ex...just...it ruined the drama for me T_T On one hand, it really was inspirational for teammates and to work towards your goals, but on the other hand, it also repeatedly was total shit when teammates should realise to work for the win instead of their own petty ideas. I'm conflicted about the drama T____T At least to me, it was a letdown.
Skate Into Love - oooooh I've had my eye on this ever since it came out 'cuz I love ice skating and am a fan of hockey & figure skating! I was just going to start watching it today! I don't even care all that much about the romance of it (thou that's a nice bonus, in this case ;D) but it's the ice that got me interested in this one :D And since we got no competitions now due to covid19, this will slate my thirst somewhat for some ice skating :D
I do love these inspirational sports dramas, wish there were more and about more sports :)
Sato Takeru is a fantastic actor and I can't wait for the summer for the new Rurouni Kenshin movies!!!! I LOVE the trilogy and have seen them all several times. They're perfect to me :D

The Untamed truly is a masterpiece to me.

Might be interested in Symphony's Romance, Lucky With You and Love is Always Online
But you should definitely add that Xu Kai is the ML for Falling Into Your Smile if it's possible to edit the article ;)
Otherwise, nice article! Found some dramas I didn't know were going to be released but now want to see :)
Thanx :)
Yeah, while it's sad I didn't end up liking it (mostly), but the theme and characters overall were indeed good ;)
