The original was so epic, it's unlikely any remake will be able to come even close in the next decade or so...They should've waited a few more years to give it a breath of fresh air.
The trailer makes me cringe 'cuz I see them replaying the exact same scenes and in my head I keep seeing how the korean cast did it with such a...a sort of charm. Here...? Nuh-uh.
It's gonna be a pass for me and I kinda feel bad for the actors, they really shouldn't have rushed it so fast in my opinion and it would've looked better some years later. Oh well.

Have seen all the others and I loved 'em (except for Vagabond which I abandoned towards the end, I have like...last 5 eps left? but dropped it 'cuz the plot didn't advance at all, sooo - meh, but it's action was truly blow your mind kind - real cool...hmmm...maybe I'll finish it by skip watching only the action scenes ;p )

Uuuuuu this is so cool! I've been keeping an eye out for The Ghost Bride ever since I found out about it. Have yet to find the time to watch it, but good to know it is indeed good!
Also same for Boku dake ga Inai Machi and Kingdom.
Now I know I definitely need to find the time to watch these 3.

Without spoiling anything too much ( I hope) - the last part of the novel covers NinqQue's efforts to make Haotian become more human like, more like old SangSang.
Aaaaand of course plenty of action and fights to end it all because Xiling is still not done with it's fights against Tang.
And that reaaally needs a 3rd season because if it's left as it is now - nothing ends. No conclusion to NQ & SS 's relationship nor the war that has broken out.
Sooo...3rd (& final) season please ;D

Haven't seen One Well Raised Daughter but the women in Mr. Sunshine definitely were wonderfully portrayed as strong, especially during such difficult times.

Considering the length of the novel and how they have been going so far with the drama, I'd say it's actually pretty much in pace with the novel and thus not too much added nor too much cut.
If they had made it shorter like you said, we'd get a chopped up drama with just the backbone and it would lose all of it's charm and probably wouldn't make sense.
So finishing the drama with the 3rd season (which should have 30 to 40 eps) would be just perfect and cover the whole novel ;D

Ok, so I saw previews till the last ep 43. They gotta make a 3rd season and finish the story!!!!! Pleeeeease!!!!!!

...you know what...there's always a bright side to everything - maybe now they will finally air those dramas that were supposed to air ages ago like Braveness of the Ming (among lots of others), but didn't air due to whatever censorship and political dislikes they came up with at the time.
Because 'ya know - no filming new dramas? -> empty time slots -> gotta keep those viewerships (especially since most people will stay at home now ) -> gotta air something -> dig out those unaired dramas that were completed years ago, but newer saw light of day.
It's horrible that the virus broke out and while I have been more fearful since we got first news it arrived in Europe, gotta keep living.

Same here. I prefer the articles over videos.
I know that might take more time for creation, but that was also more convenient to read all the info on your own time about the drama and had a link ready for it (most of the time) so I can add it to my MDL to-be-released list.
Videos...first gotta mute the music, then gotta read what little info there is while it's there or pause the video anyway.
It's great that there is video option for those who like it, but for me...sadly, I now miss out on what dramas are gonna be released 'cuz I don't really like watching those. Eh.

Oh, assassin romance? I like those, so gonna give this one a try.
Though I'm not a big fan of lakorns as they tend to be...not that nice to female leads (worse than k/c/j/dramas most of the time) & rather demeaning.
But now and then I come across some I do like, hopefully this one will be of the likeable variety ;)

It would already be bad enough if he cheated on his wife, but pregnant wife? And for years? That bastard needs to go down and never return.
Same goes for the mistress. She knew he was married and with children.
Both need to perish from the acting front.

yeah, it was rather clean and small, but I'm just glad that NQ killed him at all XD
Seeing how they had extra powered him down so far, I was fearing they'd change it so that someone else kills him, but nope - NQ is still NQ, even if not as messy ;D
