Can someone explain what is a 'some' relationship? Is it another way of saying no strings attached?
It's when two people confirm that they feel attracted to each other and would like discover if their feelings go deep enough to get involved in a proper relationship. It's usually done by college students in Korea.

Yes, he is very handsome, intense and very expressive. I too haven’t seen either Japanese or korean with that…
ok I get your point about the actresses part. Sure there are many talented actresses in that age group. And they could have chosen a debut actress as well. But when you land arimura kasumi for a role in your drama, its kinda a great deal. In Japan she is ultra famous, because of her previous roles in morning dramas as well as being the actress with most cm deals for two to three years consecutively. She is a well known face with her Instagram followers reaching millions. Besides talent, producers have to think from a monetary viewpoint as well. I am not a fan of hers or anything. Like you I found her acting boring as well in her previous dramas. (not in this one, I think she did a good job.) I am just saying that I understand their decision to cast Arimura Kasumi for this role. And I am pretty sure some of the actresses would have also rejected this role due to the subject matter.
Yes, he is very handsome, intense and very expressive. I too haven’t seen either Japanese or korean with that…
I agree with you about mosaic japan and pornographer but what I meant was primetime dramas that air at 9 pm or 10 pm were very conservative for the last 10 years. the dramas you mentioned air late night after midnight or just before midnight.
Yes, he is very handsome, intense and very expressive. I too haven’t seen either Japanese or korean with that…
it is coming back definitely. honestly i think it depends more on the producer, screenwriter and director combo rather than the broadcasting channel. some are conservative while some are not because on the same channel we can see a drama with intense kiss scenes as well as a drama with two actors standing just making their lips touch slightly for two whole minutes.
Now i dont think every drama needs intense french kissing with tongue action. but in dramas like chugakusei nikki where feelings between the couple is too deep, an intense kiss scene is needed for release of emotions and I think we did get it in ep 9.
I haven't watched a lot so forgive me!!Best Japanese Drama of 2018: 1) Chugakusei Nikki2) Todome no Kiss3) The…
Umm I don't think you should include takahata mitsuki for best Japanese actress as she won the same award for the same role last year. I get it if you are including her because of the special but even then since she has already won the award for the same role last year it can be a bit unfair for others.

I loved ur text thanks for that, but I have had a big problem, I simply can't finf the episodes 9,10 and 11 .…
It's an ongoing series. Ep 10 has aired in Japan while ep 11 which is the final ep will air on Tuesday. Currently subtitles are available only till ep 9. You can watch it on kissasian. Subtitles for ep 10 will release in a few days I guess.
Yesss an article about Chugakusei Nikki! I was hesitant to start this one, but I'm so glad I did :) I love complex…
yeah i wonder why they didnt continue the monologue scenes. Those scenes really put their feelings in perspective and showcased the conflicts both of them were going through in their mind and heart
All the familiar names in the comments from Chugakusei Nikki's MDL page, lol everyone that was lurking that page…
It's my fault though they wanted to teach me when I was young but all those weird symbols made my head hurt. They gave up on me soon after. Sometimes you really ought to listen to your elders.
okada kenshi is going to have a guest appearance on 『スマイルすきっぷ〜明日の元気をフルチャージ!〜』 today at 10:54 pm It is 10 min broadcast with a new guest appearing in each episode and talking about a hidden holiday spot beside railroads. weird but still a step forward
woah the ending of every episode surprises me. Just when I was expecting to keep their relationship status hidden, she goes and declares it to everyone. So many people were moaning about pbg smiling too much in the first few episodes but now the times when he doesn't smile is so much more impactful. It makes you wonder how he will go about putting up a resistance against the villain when they can instantly destroy his life in one second. This is exactly what I wanted from a kdrama.
I know I can't convince everyone to watch this but let me say one thing. If you are familiar with Endless love…
jun-ai dramas were golden. they really played with your feelings. however, in the past decade, j-dramas completely shifted their focus away from romance making it just a subplot in most dramas. Other than that there have only been romcoms like nigehaji or overprotected kahoko that have been successful in recent years. Workplace dramas have become more in demand and producers have responded to that. However, with Chugakusei Nikki's positive reactions all over the country, we can finally see more romance dramas coming out hopefully. It's not that I only want romance melodramas, it's just that Japan can do them really well and a resurgence of the type of dramas that made jdramas famous all over Asia and the world in the first place is well deserved.
I liked this article, don't watch the show but heard about it. :)But the "fun fact" don't seems really fun to…
My sis is the boss in our family. Since there is an age gap between us she tries to act like a Mom sometimes. She is not a bad person. It's just that when I do something she doesn't like she goes crazy. Like when she reads this article and gets to the last part I already know what her reaction is going to be like.
same here.......I don't think I found any japanese actor as attractive or handsome as him. He is really something....inexplicable.…
Having two new actors in the same drama could have been a big risk. Moreover arimura kasumi is probably the most well known actress of her gen due to hiyokko and all her CM deals.
I have been a silent reader here for a while but decided to reactivate my account to just express some of my thoughts.…
is it really that popular? i dont think it reached 'we married as a job' popularity level. Chugakusei Nikki is definitely popular among the youth and women but I dont know about the general population.
