Yes, it is supposed to have some scenes like that. There is no way we aren't getting any of those anymore. There…
Exactly. I still like this drama and the acting. At this point though the drama should show us no more crying episodes but tie the stories neatly with a simple breakup. The characters should find growth and happiness. What is weird is that ML asks for a breakup in ep 12 and in ep 13 FL asks for a breakup. In the meanwhile they fight typhoons. What will drastically change from ep 14 for me to even believe they are a couple? The ML is lying in hospital wounded ( even I as a viewer got scared imagine) but the FL is still passive and still bothered about appearances. At the scene where his dad strikes him on his injured eye she stands doing nothing. If it was my man, let me tell you I would have kicked and boxed, the fu#$ out of him. No one gets to treat my man like that. Where was the fire? she just stood like a dead fish. I think that was the point when the ML was also like “dude imma get out of here”. And this was the point I stopped rooting for this relationship. What is in it for him in this relationship? Sex, companionship or laughter (it’s literally none of these). Then why?

I see that its viewership ratings is around 7-8.So in korea people are watching which is contrary to the hate…
I agree totally. Technically this is a fabulous drama. Well made, well crafted and amazing acting. If the story is taking a different direction it is. Authors reserve the right to have creative license. I am also infuriated with the leads and have commented so here. But that does not mean the product is bad. Not every drama can be a fan service made for cookie cutter stories. MDL ratings are very specific and people only rate dramas with young cast and/or fluffy stories. It’s not fair to the actual craft of good storytelling this website. Also this is a product made for Korea audience primarily and if it caters to their taste it does and we should respect. I feel that more than 80% of Bollywood will never be liked by non south asians and I am sure we will get offended if people kept ridiculing it. It’s a bit not respectful in my humble opinion

Don't take these comments and rating seriously, it's a really good, realistic drama.
Same here 2521 is boring for me so I dropped it (just my humble opinion). This is great for me since I like technical stuff (technical details are top notch) and dramas with diversity in people.

But seriously you can still try watching it. It’s a great show. I mean people are watching 25 21 being prepared for the fact that 25 21 may have a sad ending. This drama will at least keep everyone alive and give a logical conclusion to each character. So I think enjoy the ride even if it’s bumpy

Smart choice. Wish I had done this too. Talking the technical film making aspects it’s good- acting is amazing and the cinematography is great. This is unfortunate since you get invested into the characters and there will most likely be a sad ending 👍

Seriously I'm watching this drama purely bcz of ep8 bar scene, expecting another scene like it 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲…
Most likely it won’t since I am suspecting it’s a breakup drama. At this point we have only 4 episodes and the leads are nowhere close to remain together. Unless you get a one minute reunion in scene like something in rain 😀

It’s a good drama. However I am suspecting that it’s being foreshadowed that the leads will break up most likely. If that is a problem for you, I would suggest waiting until all the remaining 4 episodes drop before you begin watching.

I have been so avidly following this drama, that I cannot help myself talking about this. I still really like this drama, but I fail to see how the ML and the FL are in a relationship. Where is the relationship? It’s not a sexual thing since they are never shown even physically close, let alone visiting each other in their rooms. They don’t date since it’s supposed to be a secret relationship. Clearly they don’t enjoy each other’s company since they only cry in front of each other and confide their deepest thoughts to their exes. When the ML asked for a breakup it was funny for me since I was like what is there to have a breakup for? 😄😄😄So far in this drama of 12 episodes they have not even had one single slot of15 minutes together even. The only time they talk is when they catch up over coffee for a couple of minutes in office. Guys that’s not a relationship. At this point I feel I have a deeper and more meaningful relationship with my teacup than what these guys have.

Is it weird tht i still have hope
To me this feels like a breakup drama. Either they will breakup or get together in the last one minute of the last episode. And no I don’t think the leads will share much screen space. So we should be prepared for more angst. But only thing is if it’s a breakup drama let them breakup happily since they did not spend anytime in the drama so “why so serious”. At this point it’s funny why they have to be so sad over a few months relationship which never saw the light of the day and which the female lead herself quoted “was half hearted and in moderation”. it's also funny to see such a hot male lead pining over someone who does not stand up for him and treats him as a dirty secret. Dude find someone else who shares your life goals of common law marriage and move on

Even though all the 3 dramas started with the same ratings (8.5)….25-21 and A business proposal are going up…
It does not fit the template setting of MDL ratings. The more formulaic the higher the ratings 🙂

This is funny. 🙂. I am the same, seems like a relationship I can break up with.

If you are totally frustrated by this story and want a substitute and are a reader also try anyone but you by Jennifer Cruise. It’s a masterpiece book written in 1996 but has been loved for 25 years. The male lead is a doctor and younger and their dialogues, their interactions and super fun. There is also one of the cutest dog stories with a basset hound. It will give you so many many happy feels. I know this is a drama website but I can’t help myself since I love books more 🙂.

Exactly its serialised content delivery at its finest. However this sometimes mean character arches don’t make sense.

isnt korean's acting always so real o_o
For the most part yeah. But Sometimes no. Some really highly rated dramas I find them suspect. For example (my humble opinion, beloved summer felt like actors are sleepwalking). This drama particularly feels like pmy forgot she was PMY and SK forgot he was SK. It feels so real. Which is why I think some people are angry with this drama. They don’t realise it probably but they are emotional about the characters. So I am angry with the drama direction of story too but I love it. It’s my best since it’s OK not to be ok.

This drama is the same for me it’s addicting. It’s like those weekly comic stories which used to be published in 1950s where people would eagerly wait for each episode and keep discussing. This drama has sparked so many discussions on this forum it’s no joke.

I am loving the drama so far. It’s so different. I love how the acting is and it’s so real. I keep waiting to see what’s next. But I want it to be a breakup drama where the leads are not together. They both are really not in the same place in life. The female lead also does not love the male lead she is too self interested. But can FLAW please give us a proper breakup which is clean, done with style and zero angst and also end with showing that most characters are happy and sunny with their choices (not the cheater couple. They need to see some angst).

This is exactly when I thought she has been treating him as a booty call not as a rebound even. I remember you…
He will be happy if he offloads daddy and his lady. Honestly though never thought I will say this, nevertheless was more wholesome. People realised their mistakes and came around and they ML and FL always had each other’s back.

I really like the character of the male lead. So I am happy as long as they show him free of his dad. It won’t be that difficult for him to find another person in my honest opinion. So I will be happy with an outcome where there is a breakup. I am watching it to mainly see if he gets the courage to cut the umbilical cord finally. Female lead is best shown succeeding in her career and going places maybe that UN thing they talked about in the first episode and staying single. She will frustrate whichever dude falls for her NGL 😄

To be honest, none of them are bad. The main culprit is their working hours and travelling nature of work. This remind me of romantic novels of characters who are in US navy seal with lot of dysfunctional relationships around. Did you ever watch homeland, there also everyone was crazy with genuine mental health issues. I think it’s not them but their very demanding job. They literally don’t have the time to connect or communicate. And the cause of all their problems is the time, which is why the show started with the ex director retiring and his wife looking oh so very very happy.

Honestly though we have all been there in real life. Holier thou people who think they are doing you a favour by dating you and getting outraged with you when you expect more from them. Their reasoning being if we are not cheating and we are steadfast we are great. But such people are frustrating to be in relationships with. In real life you really have to go out of your way sometimes for the other person. A relationship is not a balance sheet where you log your debits and credits. Which is why I can no longer root for this calculative FL. But then I love it like this, since I am ok with not liking lead characters it makes those dramas have chutzpah and attitude.
