Priyanka gets trolled but it’s water under the bridge since she does whatever she pleases. Same for other actresses too. They get trolled but it’s not a big deal. Bollywood also has a former famous porn star who is now a mainstream actress 😀😀😀. So it’s quite unlike what I see with actresses in dramaland such as PMY, under so much pressure, toxicity and venom. Totally unable to date publicly. It’s very difficult to witness since I don’t like to see women suffering. But SK really needs to man up and own/stop the trolling. He is supposed to go to the army fighting for the nation and is acting like a wimpy child and trying to hide behind PMY. Simply not done. When he behaves this way it gives the impression that PMY is chasing after him which is weird but that’s what the trollers will infer knowing them.

Oh my god this is so horrible. What if they are dating in real life. Here I thought Priyanka Chopra got trolled but never like this. Bollywood actresses keep having affairs and they never get trolled like this so this shocking for me to read since I am unable to imagine how painful it much be for the actresses. From what I know some actors (princess man) got accused of rape but still they never trolled like this. My heart bleeds to see women treated like this. But that’s why I am pissed with SK since he should have shut the trolls himself. There is india an actress called Samantha Ruth who was trolled her male colleague star shut up the trolls”. All it needs is for SK is to also promote the drama on his Instagram and not act so distant

Whatever be this drama, I checked out the latest BTS and I must say I like park min young so much. She is so sweet and also so cheerful to her on screen mom. This drama has been so difficult for her first with the trolling and then health issues. I also feel like in interviews song Kang has also been pretty callous towards her which is again not so respectful. One should check out Nam Joo Huyk interviews with Han Ji Min and he has always been so respectful to see the contrast. SK has been super cold. But PMY is such a sweetheart 😊

Yes and then they go and post new videos of nevertheless. Whatever yaa, I am so upset. Anyways thankfully I have my catnip. For the past three months I have been following this amazing Pakistani drama called Dobara. The story is the FL at 18 was married to a man who who was 48 and then he passes and she is 44 now with 2 grown children, she falls in love with a 27/28 year old man and marries him. The entire drama addresses issues such as parental abuse, social double standards for women and many other things. The acting is great and the leads look great. This may also end in the couple breaking up but the journey is worthwhile so I don’t mind it. This drama has also got a lot of love n social media and in Pakistan. People have been very supportive of this drama too. It’s airing today. So I am off now and really over and out from this forecasting mess of a drama.

I will start off by saying I really really like PMY and have watched all of her dramas and loved most of them. I also love age gap romances such as Cheeni Kum (Hindi movie where ML is a lot older), My cousin Rachael (tragedy where the FL is older), Rational Life, Marriage contract. This usually offers something different and also helps change the way we think of older people and especially ageism against women. This MDL page also threw a lot of vitriol on the FL even though she looks so pretty and cute and is not much older. I am ok with a sexual relationship if it’s consensual and honest (which is why I loved nevertheless since they both knew what they were getting into), I also love spiritual religious stories (especially Islamic ones such as verses of love and Pakistani stories). However one thing that is non negotiable for me is time. Here the couple have zero screen time together. Of the 10 hours of drama we have seen so far the main couple have not even spent forty minutes with each other. The writer has shown us crazy workaholic people who never give any time or value to their loved ones. We have a vanishing father who resurfaces after 14 years and does not even apologise once to his wife. The lead couple work style is unhealthy to the point of being an obsession. They wake up, eat and sleep and during all of these activities only talk about weather. The strange thing is after 10 episodes they give us 5 mins of alone time for the couple and even in this intimate moment they are still talking about work and weather. The only relationship the FL, ML and the senior forecaster are with is the weather. At this point I actually feel even if they show a breakup there would be no effect on us viewers since they had no screen time anyways. I am so disappointed since I loved this drama in the beginning and the first few episodes had a few really heart fluttering moments.

Yes it appears so. At least Korean parents will nag and let you be. Other Asian cultures for example south Asian or middle eastern will take far more extreme view of the situation and probably very scary actions too. Which is why Korean dramas are loved by many. The culture is liberal enough for asians who are suffocated by their own regressive traditions, but it still is conservative enough to be familiar. However western audience may find it confusing sometimes.

I don’t know 🤷‍♀️. To be honest usually I read books and my recommendations are Fault in our stars, crooked kingdom (hero has bone problems), the kiss quotient, the curious incident of dog in night time. The first two are physical disabilities and second two are people who are not neurotypical. Highly recommend

He is a social warrior who is visually impaired and busts crimes in the street of New York City. Another classic is an Indian movie called the eyes “aankhein” which is one of my all time favourites where the antagonist hires three blind men to rob a bank it’s extremely thrilling

I am dropping forecasting because I have a personal trigger about vision loss. I even hated Jane eyre because of this ending. It’s fine if the character is visually impaired to begin then I actually really like that due to diversity. I feel this drama may lead us there and I don’t want to be there 🙂. Watch my Id is Gangnam beauty. And tales of nokdu is so beautiful but so underrated.

If it’s fun drama you want you can try Chinese dramas. Xu kai is always a good choice. I am also dropping this drama. You can watch Waikiki 1 and 2 it’s amazingly fun and strong woman do bong soon

Sure look forward to hearing from you in case it’s a happy end since I am checking out of this drama. Also I don’t want to have an ending like Jane Eyre where the main hero is left suddenly disabled. I loved dramas with people with special abilities, but I hate it when writers throw curveball like this just to manipulate with our emotions

I am dropping this drama. I have a huge trigger when it’s come to vision loss. So this is an absolute no go for me now. This week the drama went massively downhill for me. So I cannot take this anymore. They should have put a trigger warning. Since I am sure there are others like me who have a fear of this issue. I am so frustrated with how things shaped up. Seems like people who foreshadowed that couple sleeping together early would mean something no good is turning out to be true

I have really liked this drama so far but I have one point that I am critical about. I think the writer has chosen to display very unhealthy work habits of these office people. They seem to be at work by 7 am! and are a still shown to be working until 9 pm. Moreover they don’t have any weekends off it seems and even on the one weekend off they are still obsessing about work. This is totally insane even by k drama and j drama standards. This is actually causing the plot of this drama to also halt because the main leads never get to spend time or do anything else. Also the side couple don’t get to spend time either. Hence it also makes me sceptical about what kind of personal life would any of these characters have and since everyone is at work they also have poker faces on which prevents the characters from developing a more holistic 3 D personality. That’s my 2 cents

I think it’s not that he is good looking but it’s more like he is trending. Thus he is able to get the eyeballs and the views that channel syndicates want. I think they also know that his acting is so so. Also his looks are not super great but he is trending and that does bring in the revenues that channel want. So I would say it’s a smart decision to cast him whilst he is popular. At the end of the day production houses have to make profits. I am sure their operations are already stretched due to Covid protocols and so many other business challenges. So many livelihoods depend on the success of one dramas

Did you watch the latest video by Netflix Korea? In this park min young says that she struggled a lot mentally during this show and Yoon park helped her . I think all these trolling has gotten to her. She also looked very tired in this latest clip. I mean she is just 35 but looked so so tired and worn out that I felt like giving her a hug. People have given her a lot of shit over song Kang and park Seo joon, whilst giving a free pass t han so Hee even though she does intimate scenes since she is in her twenties

This was the first episode I was a bit disappointed. While mature conversation is important in a relationship which can be evidenced by them talking to each other. Intensity of feeling is important too. Even old grandparents with decades of marriage have intensity and their moments in this episode felt a bit flat
