quite touching drama
Despite the fact it engages a lot of tropes and the young actors are not all in the character and the acting is weird, this drama is definitely TOUCHING, maybe owing to the fact that the actors are so young and good-looking - like only young ppl can look. I find it moving, though i could see all the flaws and minuses and tropes of this drama.I'd say, it's so relatable to be young, full of dreams, naive and hesitant... Still the 1st ML is really typical MrPerfect - tall, handsome, rich, caring etc.
Not to rewatch, still enjoyable.

short enough to not get boring & quite nice in the BL category
THAI dramas have a thing for BL, and anyone can't but praise the excellent school they built over years.STILL this drama falls short from epic stories like KinnPorsche... It starts really daring, with a lot of sexual tension and power struggle, even implied BDSM, but after the first time together the ML's become some softies and the series turns into some boring romance. Too bad the initial vibe was lost!
I also came to hate with a passion this tropey obsession of lovers that met during childhood! Are we people so stuck into the past?

commercial success, American school & mature casting
I am a fan of mature casting, but this one didnt really suit the topic... I mean, you cannot cast mature people to act like teen sensation or something.The director certainly has studied American school so he/she engaged a lot of ANTI-TROPES (which is, the new tropes) just to make it shocking and entertaining - which i dont mind at all - but i wonder if he/she brought anything original or personal to it. Still IT IS dynamic, modern, easy to watch...
The ML and FL and the SML and all the cast are certainly great actors, but i somehow doubt this drama was made with sincerity... i mean, it's more like a show to bring fame and cash flow.
I totally hate shows that blacken the media and depict it like blood-suckers that feed on high-life scandals... Isnt it more like a love-hate relationship where celebrities are made through publicity and gossip?
Nice drama all in all, as long as you dont mind that the puppets' ropes are showing.
SIDE NOTE: The ML reminds me big time of the player guy in The Glory, maybe the haircut and acting style? And the ML's friend, with his locks, looks so much like Filipino actor in Fan Girl...

trashy movie but the ML is hot
And he looks a lot like Mark Suparat! His acting style - very natural and nuanced - is also similar to the Thai actor.The movie itself can hardly be called a movie, more like a poorly written manga.
I still can watch the ML just walking around and playing with the FL while looking super hot!

enjoyable most of the time
An excellent drama, despite being a bit outdated and definitely too long.Its major flaw, i'd say, its the crazy ending... since everything starts on a comedy note, how come it turns into a melodrama and finally becomes a tragedy? It doesnt add up to me. One VERY interesting thing is how the dark characters mix in the story with the humorous ones - the ML and his father are totally dark, while the FL and ppl on her side are sunny. Good job!
Cinematography is solid, a lot of nice details and good dialogues, also acting is very nuanced. The actors are particularly handsome and relatable - except for the nonsense "we cant be together though we are both single, mature and crazy in love". Even supporting cast is memorable...
Nice watch if you have time - or put the skip button to use.

very good
Actors are excellent, plot is entertaining - based on revenge but later enemies turn to lovers - so i was pleased to watch this. The SML - a village lad that can only love unconditionally - was also particularly good, as well as the traumatic mom.I honestly cannot praise this enough. Im sure i'll get back to it some day.

tropey but enjoyable
Nothing new abt the plot of this drama, but the cast is really nice, Cinderella is young and bubbly and brave, the Cold Prince is rather soft at heart and healing from past trauma...It could really be above average but for the cartoonish outfits and the impersonal settings - our ML is set on cleanliness...
Nice to watch in-between other dramas.

how to become a flop
What started pretty strong, as a dark revenge melodrama, turned soon into some boring nonsense where nothing added up. i feel sorry for the wasted potential this drama had, and especially for the excellent ML. BUT the plot was a total mess after the first few episodes, its just like they tried to patch together all the ideas gathered during a brainstorming session with the filming team.The ML and FL dont really communicate, though they frequently talk (!?). Everybody blackmails everybody and keeps secrets from them. As i already said, nothing adds up and its a total mess.
After ep13 or so, just skipped and watched the final - which is pretty rewarding - and thats all.

one of the best life lessons in the dramaworld
It could have been a great BL, it has a lot of undeveloped potential, but sadly the sexual tension between the leads was not explored.The actors are very natural, character development and psychological touch are done right, the plot is quite catchy and doesnt drag much. Some side roles still unnecessary, but then the bunch of friends is really something to watch! Also the businessman friend...
The skinny, narrow-framed ML comes across as more of a man than the hunk second ML, which is quite a performance! The ML is a tragic, still serene character - unique even in the world of drama! Absolutely unique! To be seen!
One particular thing i like abt this drama is its realism... Not every valuable person is valued in life, some worthy ppl are still treated like shit!!
Note: The assault of the ML by the SML was brushed off too easily. To drug someone, beat him, strip him half-naked and throw him unconscious in the bushes on a rainy night is attempted murder... It pained my heart and had me cry for real, since we already live in a cruel world. That scene triggered me unlike any other : (

modern lakorn with hot scenes
It's a lakorn, if you know what i mean... But it's modern and it's got some hot scenes! What else? Not much... Young cast, some better than others.Excellent cinematography, nice camera angles, nice settings, nice details... Fashion & hairdo are a bit weird.
Plot is full of tropes, like the character with a traumatic past and those dom/sub love dynamics (power balance in the two couples is totally off! being patted on the head is something so pleasurable? I almost saw those two subs wiggling their tail...).
It's like one - or two - BL Cinderella's encounter their respective prince.
The comedic element is hardly done right.

so cringey that it's fun
First of all, let me say i totally fell for the Hia's of this drama, who are both handsome and talented. I could watch the series just for them. I cannot say the same abt their partners, who act like some retarded kids, always afraid of their lovers and trying to please them. Their small frame also doesnt help to match their dominant Hia's! It's like both the rich and handsome CEO's got themselves a slave to toy with. It's so weird that its funny! Of course it shouldnt be in any way compared with real life!The earrings and the ballet socks men wear in BL dramas add to the cringey feeling. Is this a code or something?
Fashion, settings, hot moments are enjoyable.
Put your mind at rest and watch it.

a must watch
despite the fact that a lot of scenes are missing and the action makes little sense, its still one of the best BL dramas, thanks to the two gorgeous ML's. they are really so hot together!the fighting scenes are also pretty good...
a lot of cringey characters/scenes though, like the weird robber with some hidden secrets (?). or the (almost) absence of female characters... or the never-ending troubles for the ML's. and totally nonsensical ending...
still the two ML's are so handsome and so versatile that i can ignore the plot. hilarious too!
waiting for the uncut version!

nice & fluffy comedy
Totally lovable comedy, with a melodramatic vibe. Actors are good-looking and natural, and all in all they make this series so enjoyable! The support cast - the parents and the little fellow - are especially funny.The video quality is bad, but the rest of this drama doesnt scream outdated! Fashion is ok, nothing to hurt the eyes.
Very lively, nothing to resemble a manga adaptation. This is a plus! I didnt give this a ten because the "dumb-but-sweet-girl" is not my fav trope, and also i didnt like that the SML was treated like trash, comedy or not...
I watched this on mute, after reading the previous comments, so the FL screaming didnt bother me.
I really really liked this, though not for a moment it can be taken seriously.
Better version than the Korean one, way more genuine.

excellent in so many ways
It's not perfect, though its great... The weak part - if weak, i still havent made up my mind - its the comedic side, which is so exaggerated, obviously parody or whats called. Definitely not the realistic type of story, its a FAIRY TALE DONE RIGHT! and of course, music is divine...Cast is so good, it makes you lose a sense of reality!
I would rewatch it anytime, though i can see its flaws... But its so enjoyable!

a total joke
Im half through this and really wonder why i'm still watching it... Totally cliche, mediocre acting from the FL - who is also not suitable for the role, being mature-looking and stout while playing an innocent fearful college girl? The plot follows the old trope of the girl paying family debt with her body (!), which is totally crazy for us european viewers... Too many coincidences to be taken seriously - out of the entire China, the FL only bumps into the revengeful ML, his brother-in-law and then his mom?? Seriously?Another serious short-coming is that the director of the drama seems unable to decide if this is a comedy or a tragedy, most dramatic scenes mingle with some unreasonably funny scenes, like wtf? If u wanna do it, at least do it right!
WHY is there no ORPHAN tag? Too many dramas from all asian countries have these orphan protagonists! And im still to figure WHY? Are parents such a hindrance?
The ML is a total psycho... he raped and abused the FL for 3 yrs, and now we have to believe he secretly loves her and protects her. It's just the housekeeper that loves and cares most for ML, shouldnt they be a better match?
Totally unnatural, fast paced, like adapted from a manga, or Harlequin series or whatever... Watch it with popcorn.
