Kim Hye Soo is the pillar & shinning star of this show. Hwa ryeong is the exemplary of how a queen should be, she knows when to be compassionate & when to assert her power. She loves her children's but does not cross the line to teach them to lie & scheme. A queen with a big heart but not a doormat either. I particularly loved the bond & mutual respect she has with her senior court last especially lady shin.
The best medicine for the queen dowager(since she loves killing other people's sons) is to have her own son killed.…
My predictions for the ending the king will abdicate , the QD demoted to commoner & CP Seongnam will be the new king. Korean drama tend not to be all out brutal when it comes to their endings
Unpopular opinion, i felt Grand Prince Muan has better chemistry with Cho Wol despite the brief scenes they are in compare to CP Seongnam & Chungha, which felt quite forced. CP Seongnam has better chemistry with the Queen n his brother's
Quite an engaging watch n glad it was only kept at 12 episodes. Though there were some plotholes n the ending was kind of lackluster, the overall concept n storyline still worth a watch.
Binged watch up till episode 16 and especially love the sisterhood on display here. So refreshing to see a drama without the manic backstabbing and scheming among the women. These ladies are so amazing in their own ways even the supporting role of zhang hao hao wins over me.

Sex Its part of natural human desire. I like watching it if it is done right and not just some random sex scene which happens a lot in American shows. The sex scene in both money heist & my name was not provocative imo, it is showing 2 ppl developing feelings for each other through life and death situation and expressing it deeper. It was a well made love scene. I would prefer this over those unnecessary nude scenes in slasher films

Even for someone who didn't watch the OG, i also felt the professor performance was too lacklustre n mild, it didnt leave a deep impression on me n i felt any other seasoned actor can replaced him. I felt Park Haesoo as Berlin steal the limelight from Yoo Jitae, he added many complex layers to his character especially during the confrontation between Professor & Berlin
My favorite characters in no particular order 1. Tokyo , love her badass no nonsense characteristics n a person who sticks by principles despite the circumstances 2. Berlin, has a sadistic tendency due to the harsh environment he was in during his concentration camp days. He knew very well that at times kindness does not work in a robbery situation 3. Denver the dim witted but kind soul, admired his loyalty towards his team n how cares for the people around him. He grew up with the wrong crowd but deep down he still remains his empathy side. The rest did not stand out that much. Professor portrayal was a bit too mild in my opinion
