But they do show that scene in the trailer....they didn't show it in the drama?
Yeah, the plot is different and I’m relieved she doesn’t get ill. I’ve read enough heartbreaking fanfics where she dies, don’t want that in the drama T_T

In the manhua MuJin is the number one ChangSun shipper, even tried to start a fire (with his letter writing skills). I’m glad he retained this very important role haha

Noooooooo how could they?their child. were they not thinking about her?the governor and his wife
Actually without the lady around, taking care of Yuan’er would be easier for CG and Mr Qin, so she did it to aid her daughter despite the heartbreak it would cause her.

I loved that this drama had no misunderstandings between the main couple. They knew what they wanted and went for it. There aren’t enough dramas like this without rubbish tropes. And of course the ML and FL were awesome together, I really enjoyed the actors’ portrayal. The dub could’ve been better, but I was able to quickly overlook it and focus on the acting instead.

There are too many things to include and honestly most viewers I think really don't notice. Also its an adaptation…
I hope you have as much fun reading it as I did! /thumbs up

I haven't even finished the manhua yet and I'm already disappointed by their dynamic. Nothing new or interesting.
I think I saw in the MV her (CG) staring at the Path of Inaction writing on the wall, so I believe that they will include at least some of it. I believe it’s a Taoist principle, really big on paths, much like it is for the Han way of thinking.

I agree that many things will be changed, I just thought since they included the scene what was the point of changing the details, that’s all. That scene directly fed into her realising why Governor Gong Sun behaved as he did, so it felt important, but they obviously thought different.

And I also came to the conclusion that I should just watch the drama as if it were based on the manhua only to a certain extent or I’d go crazy hehe, but it’s nice to trade opinions with others on how good the adaptation itself is. I’m actually enjoying the drama, changes and all.

Ohh thanks for the detail! In my opinion, its probably just easier to throw veggies lol. With rocks, they break…
That’s what I thought too tbh, but then I realised it would’ve been more likely to use soft props disguised as stones, but perhaps they found it too much...

I felt a bit perplexed too. I mean obviously it’s a Cdrama so I didn’t expect them to use stones or something…
I guess you’re right, but when food is scarce I would’ve imagined throwing mud would’ve been less wasteful, hehe

The dynamic in the drama or manhua?

For the manhua, I thought it to be quite novel and not in the enemy to friends type of way, but in a “we were wrong about fundamental beliefs in our lives, let’s fight for what we truly consider important and improve ourselves together. And if one day, home isn’t home anymore, I’ll be your refuge, and you mine” type of way.

He was unbound by rules (or at least he thought so) but she was, and slowly they learn to find a balance. The manhua digs pretty deep into the meaning of following one’s path in life and beating the odds (in their case for their loved ones and each other).

Ah, I just remembered something. In the manhua, ChangGe got attacked by stones to the point of them breaking skin. The attackers were the Shuo province citizens feeling (mistakenly) betrayed by her surrender to the Turks. In the drama, they only showed her being pelted with soft green food stuff. I was wondering why they made the change...

Oh god what did they do to Ashina Sun...I can't watch this drama without rolling my eyes and hating every scene…
To fit the new plot they almost completely changed him /sobs for our awesome Ashina Sun

Haha, but if he buffed up enough and he’s super confident, it’ll look good, especially the hair flip XD

You and I, both! Ashina as Tegin is a lot of fun! Think they’ll put in the naked in the river scene? /wink /wink
I saw CG dressed in a belly dancer costume at the side of She’er in a preview. No idea what’s that about! Super curious.
