Title My Mister Spoiler
Here I am writing again because I can't bring myself to move on LOL
After reading every thread in the official fan website, I can't see the drama the same as before. I know that the purpose of the drama was portraying a profound relationship between two humans. But, no matter how I look and how I think of it. There WAS a deep love and a romantic love between them-A love that is more than only frendship (I know that the director insisted that it's not the issue of the drama). I think, that his purpose was indeed showing this friendship, but the ending might leave it open for a future romance. They wanted maybe, to convey a true and a deep love between them without making it a "romantic drama", because that will lose it's chram. I wonder if I'm the only one who saw it like that. Because if you rewatch scenes, there's no way that this was one sided. And the end, really improves that to me.

May I direct you to this interpretation of the two finally found happiness with each other? https://givemeslippers.wordpress.com/2018/06/23/my-ahjussi-ending-a-promise-of-more/And…
Ohhh thank you so much!
I read it! But I still don't understand- why they didn't contact each other so long until THAT TIME? (it seems like a year for at least), and I couldn't find answers to the question of the monk and YuRaXGiHoon. This drama has so much layers, so I think that there's probably an answer..

I did not like DOTS and did not like Goblin (only watched 6). The lead characters in Goblin are not that good.…
Thank you for your answer! I can understand what you're saying. I haven't watched it yet, but the way characters are written is important to me. What you're describing is interesting and I agreee that you won't fall in love with someone just because you were told so XD But it reminded me a bit of Who You Came From The Stars...he was also an old alien but he did fall in love with that girl, and acted like stupid- but it didn't bother me that time. It also doesn't matter (to me) the age gap as long as in looks reasonable (you're describing it differently tho)
It't totally ok to watch other things now :) I think that I will give it a chance, but before I also want to watch some other things first.

I don't think it's similiar to DOTS. I do think it's easy to tell they are written by the same person though.…
Thank you very much for your answer! I agree with you. If you think about it that way, drama is also kind of an art. You can recognize a person 's imprint in his works. I am impressed that your brother also liked it hehe! I will watch it in the new future :)

I finished watching it today. This drama was the deepest. I love it and it was perfect. I took so many life lessons from it, and I will never forget it. I just can't help feeling a little bit bad about the ending- no matter how you look at it, they both were finally happy so it was a good ending. But I felt a little bit sad that they just stoppd being in touch after all they went through together. Don't you feel the same?
I also didn't understand if PDH divorced his wife or not? What was the ending with the monk? And why YuRa and why GiHoon had to break up

I DID NOT EXPECT THAT! This movie was on my list for years and thought many times to delete it but I'm so glad I didn't. It was a great movie.
I keep on hearing and hearing about this drama so I wonder if I should watch it. I have a question- Is it similiar to DOTS? I'm afraid it is (same screen writer and both of dramas are very mainstream) I really didn't like the shallow dialogues of DOTS (don't kill me) but here, again, the cast is spectacular and it sounds interesting. So what is your opinion?

Title Reply 1994 Spoiler
I'm on episode 20 and I started watching this in August. It's really good and nostalgic but it somehow feels draggy…
I agree with you about the dragging part and that there was no mystery about who she end up with. But I still think that many people watch it with comparing this to the other seasons and don't try to see it as it's own. (Actually, I think that the 1997 one was obvious too, but for me this season's characters are the most memorable. I also loved the comedy part in here the most )

I'm disappointed that so many people hated this season. For me it was the best one ;(
On Somewhere in Between Feb 23, 2019
This movie makes me really curious, because in the poster there's a picture of the movie Peppermint Candy which is such a piece of art, and talks about such a complex issue in Korea (Gwangju Massacre) but this movie doesn't seem to be related to this so I wonder what it's going to be about.

I still think about this drama from time to time. My favourite season was actually the 1994 one, and after spoiling…
So, I picked it up again and I'm full of tears while writing this. Completing this drama, is like saying a goodbye to a dear friend. This drama has everything. I'm so glad I decided to continue it because it's so much more than the "main couple" or just romance. This drama talks about the most important things in life and gives you so much things to think about and appreciate. I love how it portraits the friendship of the characters, the love and the families. I even don't like family dramas usually. But I could relate and I could feel so much even the older characters. There wasn't even one character that I didn't like, but Bo Ra was my favourite character and I could really relate to her in so many of aspects.
This season also, proves once again that for me, there's no better drama than Reply series. I'm sure I'll rewatch it again. Even though I finished it only now, this drama will be dear for me forever. <3 10/10

I can't even put into words how much I loved Sung Bo Ra. It's the first drama character that I could so relate to. In personality and in life situation. I love her so much so I wanted to check the actress. I see that she doesn't have much main roles... Hope she starts to, since she's so talented. I'm in love! <3

I still think about this drama from time to time. My favourite season was actually the 1994 one, and after spoiling myself who Deok Sun ends up with I just felt so betrayed and dropped 1988 for a year already. I think that now that I "got over" it, I'll pick it up again. For the second couple and the friendship maybe...still thinking about it hehe...

I'm so happy that I watched this drama!
I find it a bit unfair to compare it to the Reply series since it has it's own charm and I felt that although it's "nostalgic", the concept is different.
I loved all of the characters and their development. all the couples and the "sismance". I really enjoyed all of the feeling that the drama portraited, and how realistic it was. Jung Hee was childish, but after experincing some things she also showed a matured side in her. I think that no matter what I say, it won't convey my feeling toward this special drama. I also LOVED the political side here and even thought that it wasn't enough! [since this year, and few years before and after it, S.Korea faced a very dark period in her modern history( -Gwangju Uprising etc) so I thought that it was portraited very "lightly" here] I also knew how people at those times were treated in school and that it was normal to hit your child, but I thought that it was too violent even for that time , but maybe I'm wrong and it was actually like that.
Anyway, I really really enjoyed this drama! Maybe will rewatch it in the future. 9/10

Title Something in the Rain Spoiler
I was waiting for so long to watch it because everyone says it's such a mature and realistic drama. I was still on the "first half" which is supposed to be the better part but I got disappointed. All they do is kissing all day without even talking to each other. The drama is kind of passing the conversations part, so I don't get when and why excatly they fell in love for each other and what they talk about all day. I guess thay I was expecting too much instead of just watching it, so I ended up dropping it :(

I wonder if he likes the 80's XD (Because of Reply 1988 and A Taxi Driver). But well, he's such a great actor. One of best.
On A Taxi Driver Jan 6, 2019
I watched this film because I took a course about Korean history in films and literature in university , but I watched "May 18" few years ago (before watching this movie) so I kind of knew about this issue. The Gwangju Massacre is a tragic part of Korea's history, and this film doesn't fail to show it. Unbelievable how those kind of things happened in the last century (not to mention that those kind of things still happen today too..) but I think that the movie shows how absurd the situation was, and the 'brotherhood' of the people- not only Gwangju people, but also -Korean people -and the whole world as one againts those evil acts.
