I guess I expected too much from the drama since it was such an iconic (and still is) one. But I'm not sure it aged well. The editing of the show is quite terrible and it could have been shortned to 14 episodes at last + what was that ending!? I still can't really understand it.. The characters were pretty much annoying, except Jun Sang/Lee Min Hyuk, and the story itself dragged in so many ways. We suffered all the way, so for at least they should have been together. The good parts is the filming. The winter has a very strong persence and the season feels magical. Plus, the story overall is exactly that melancholic-heart breaking- emotional love story. So if they hadn't broke up for so many times, I would have probably forgiven it hehe.
The characters were well written and well played, but I felt that the plot was messy. It did manage to interest me until the end, but there were too many holes and sub-plots that made the drama lose its focus. I do think there were some really problematic issues here that weren't addressed (or not addressed enough) but overall the drama was engaging and the cast was good too. 7/10
Except of that the timeline was confusing, and that the goal of the movie was unclear until the end, the movie was interesting enough. Perfect cast and great suspense.
Except for some open cases towards the end, I can say that this drama was actually very interesting and well written (what's with this rating!?) Yes, it has a slow pace and yes the FL is a bit annoying at the beginning, but you can't have it another way. I would describe this genre as "mystery" and not horror or action because it's just not ...so it keeps on confusing everyone. But honestly, for this genere it's a very good drama! From beginning to end I really enjoyed it. Recommended!
You can find this not only here. According to my [Korean] Korean teacher, this is actually polite- because you…
Logically yes, but it barely happens since Korea (and other Asian cultures) tend to always put the other person above you out of respect. So if she said that, it will be only in case the she "forgot" that she's talking with someone she needs to address formally. Like how they love to do scenes where someone talks with the other person in informal language and then stops for a second and adds the 요 to show the respect XD
In the first episode when the leads meet for the first time in the pharmacy, why does the FL use a rather informal…

I really enjoyed the drama! Watched it for Ji Min and Min Ki but ended up being very interested in the plot. The comedy was brilliant, and the actors did great job portraying their characters! I also loved the chemistry of the 3 leads. The only thing I felt sad about was the too many plot-holes and the last episode that felt rushed, absurd and messy, but overall it was a great watch, and I didn't know who's the murdered until the very end! 8.5/10. P.S please give Han Ji Min and Lee Min Ki another drama together this time with more romance in ittttt
Farewell Ahjussi....you will forever be my favourite actor. I'm so sorry you had to pass away that way, and that you had no other choice... Now I can't stop crying, but I hope that one day I will be able to smile again while watching you..
I really love the drama and I think it's beautiful and pure, even though it's so painful to watch and I'm suffering all the way. I just don't understand this though. the whole drama was sad, and the MFL was suffering all of her life, she did nothing wrong and yet they insist to explain her desease as a "punishmnet" and at the end not only the love of her life doesn't choose her, but she also dies! I just feel that it's so unfair for her and for us, the watchers. She's the definition of a saint.... I also don't like it how the SML is so abusive. They were together for few days, and he treats her so badly even though he knew she didn't like him from the beginning. I can still somehow understand Yumi-she dated Joon Suh for a long time and they were about to marry, but why Tae Suk keeps making Eun Suh feel so bad. AND, why do they "solve" everything by moving to the States? I can't understand it (I will ignore the first episodes that were totally unrealistic) ...Joon Suh decalred his love for Eun Suh, and was ready to throw everything for her, but I still can't understand why he chose Yumi and why they had to breake up in the first place....
I honestly don't understand how the rating is so low considering that people probably didn't even watch the movie because the lack of subtitles? I watched it raw, and the movie was really amazing. Good cast, and well acted, down-to earth stories, very special and very interesting with the "wine pairing". I watched this movie because it reminded me the manga "Kami no Shozuku" but it has a different vibe with a different charm. I would actually hoped for it to have longer stories or even made into a drama...it's such a shame there were only 3 bottles/stories. Anyway, great movie and very recommended!
From watching many dramas, I've now developed a skill specifically related to kdramas. If the show has 16 eps,…
Oh wow, I can't believe I wrote this already 5 years ago... Yeah I agree with you...most dramas, and especially those 16 episodes ones tend to get bad from episode 11/12~ I think that I was expecting a bit more from this drama... and when it didn't, I was disappointed that they chose the cliche ending..
Great and important movie. I think that the the way they portrayed the bullying was very realistic, unlike the makjang and overacting in dramas. It made the movie more impactful...
