I read the comments here and didn't understand-why all of them say that the ending is a sad ending when it's clearly…
I understand ;) but it does make me happy to think this way either way ;) But I actually also read an article in Korean where they interviewed the creators ,and they said they did it on purpose+there were other seconds there after that last scene, that they cutted out in the editing, since they were supposed to do a seacond season *still waiting*
I can't wait to watch the second season already! I was rooting for Jung Won and Gyeo Wool from the beginning, but their last scene...!!! I just can't wait to see when he started liking her her as well cause it came with a surprise. You couldn't deny he had that "look" when Ik Jun told him "you like her, don't you?" I immediately understood that he liked her as well, but I can't wait for the second season to show us from when!!! I can't wait also to see what happens between Suk Hyung and Min Ah! He's so gentle he desevres to be happy T_T
I really liked this show. It has everything I look for in a drama, exactly how Reply was for me too. Friendship, romance, comedy and feels...I don't know that I'm going to do until May (probably cry)
I recently received two recommendation for this drama and actually I was considering whether I should watch this drama or not as I highly dislike the writer Kim Eun Sook. So- I would like to hear some thoughts of how this drama is different from her other works?
Oh! I'm really interested to know it! Where did you read about it?
Hahaha I'm curious nowXDDD
Yes, I totally agree with you! That's exactly the same for me. I get inspired from the drama to look out for the real events, and learnd a lot about general things, people or even just the culture and the tradition.
Thanks for the recommendations!! I will definitely look that up. and if you have other recommendations of good (and as accurate as you think it is) saeguk don't hestitate to recommend! :D

Thanks a lot for all the information!! (haha the comment about the hairstyle...Although I wish to see the real ones too) I understand...Well, actually I'm one of those people who actually think they can learn from dramas, and I did learn a lot from my historical dramas-watching history. But as you said, you need to take into account that those are dramas after all, and so we need to look on them as fictions.
hey i wanted to ask something. was there really a 10 years or so age difference between the real empress ki and…
Ohh wow. Can you please send me where you read all those things? Don't foget though, that this is the Korean narrative, so of course they will want to portray their own people as good people.
I really liked this movie. Really liked the way Sang Woo's character growth was realistic. A Heartwarming film that has beautiful cinematography and soundtrack.
Just WOW. Such a powerful and deep drama. Definitely one of the best Jdoramas (if not the best) I will probably won't find any thing as good as this one! 10/10
You probably won't. :p I felt the same way when I watched it six years ago. Now I am rewatching it for the first…
Wow! Amazing to hear that you haven't forgotten about it for 6 years! Indeed, this drama has a charm that you never see in other dramas. Have fun rewatching :D!
Yeah T_T I cried so much watching this movie... It's one of my first Chinese movies so I learned about China's history a lot. It made me think of those times, and how people lived. I was also quite shocked to see how communism was so into their lives (I mean, even the house's decorations were Mao...XD")
Oh, yeah I agree :) Personally, because I was watching the movie with a critic intention for class, I saw it as being a victim of circumstances. If the goverment didn't do that and that, all of those things wouldn't happen. But yeah...giving those buns to that doctor actually killed their daugther. Ah...Such a sad movie
