Candle in the tomb somehow have this kind of genre. The novel where adapted it from named Gui Chui Deng is where Sanshu (daomu biji's author) took the idea of his story. From what I know candle in the tomb is not a bromance cuz the woman there in the story was substituted as a man for this lost tomb's story.

Yes but him pretending is not about saving Wu's asset, he disguised as his uncle to ask help from Wu's people in saving xiao ge and the others. Those people were hired by his uncle not his so they feel that they aren't oblidge in helping him because he isn't influential enough

Its ok I understand, I like pingxie too so no worries. Me too I like to see how they produce adaptation in book 8 too. But sadly 3/4 of the book 8 will about Wu xie disguising as his uncle and xiao ge will be shown in the last half of the story. So there wont be much of interaction except from the ending where xiao ge will tell wu xie everything (and he will admit how Wu xie is important to him by telling him that he took his place so that Wu xie will maintain his innocence)

From what I've understand Opera happened during wang canghai era. So it happened in the past. Xiao ge "maybe" alived that time but he's a teenager while Wu xie and pangzi aren't alive that time

I think you've misunderstand something...
1. Lost Tomb 2: Explore the Note only covers books 2 and 3, while Ultimate Note only covers books 5 to 7. There will be another live adaptation named Lost tomb 2: Heavenly Palace and it will cover book 4
2. Ultimate Note season 2 is not sure yet cuz theres an issue regarding about the production and author's side (if you want to know about it pls read further the comments below)
3. Book 8 (which is about saving Qiling and the others) no one took right for it yet. I never heard anything about a production team that can produce the live adaptation for book 8 yet.

So in other word like as what we've said there are 2 remaining live adaptations of lost tomb that we didn't watched yet
*Heavenly Palace and;
*Tibetan Sea Flowers (happened 5 years after the book 8) it is about Wu xie having a journey to understand more about Qiling's past

You did read the book? The book will explain to you why he kept secrets about everything. He explain that even he himself doesnt know the truth so he can't explain everything to enlighten Wu Xie, and its written in the last book that he explained to wu xie the fact about the gate and mystic nine's role for it before guarding the said gate. So if you really read the book you wont feel that way about Qiling (yes he is mysterious and cold but he trusted Wu Xie more than anyone), the book and even the live dramas somehow shows that Qiling sometimes having amnesi

Ep 37 is not in the book if I remembered. The end of ep36 is the first few chapters of book 8

After ultimate note there is the book 8 or the final book and zang hai hua which happened 5years after the main story. It will show about wu xie going into adventures to learn about xiao ge's past

Wu's people are under wu sanxing not wu xie. So he needs to be him if he wants their help and wants them to work with him

Not sure if book 8 will be adapted cuz no one announced that there are producers who took the right for it yet. But the books that will be adapted into live drama are book 4 and zang hai hua (1st sequel)
