At this point, he is sort of the bad guy…he blame all those people for what happen to him so he is taking them all down, the good clans and the ghost clan. As for replicating and distributing the glass key, he want all the “proper” clans to fight and destroy each other over it because he thinks they are worst then the ghost clan because they hind their evil doing behind righteousness. I don’t want to spoil it for you, but he only care at this point about two people maybe three, Ah Xu, Ah-Xiang and Tricolor ghost (in that order of important) , later by episodes 11-12 CHang ling is add to the list and he become the same level of important as Ah-Xiang because he (WKX) considers them his kids. Everyone else can be destroy, use or kill for all he care, some good people may get involved but to the “him” the beginning of the story this is an acceptable lose. If want to be spoil, I can tell you.

Yeah….at less a soft reboot.

I finished the first episode and I think it seem more like soft reboot. The tone is back to slap stick like the beginning of S1 compared to the more serious tones where S1 left off. Maybe 🤔 the change seem different and a start over because of the change in the director and maybe production company ( because the style is a little different from S1)? I’ll still watch it. I don’t mind the chance in actress, was interested in the show more the actress in the last production and the new actress I have seen in other shows and I don’t mind her. But they do like to put her in red costume a lot.

Just saw the first five min…is this a reboot instead of sequel? I liked season 1 but it end with cliffhanger.

They change the old CL’s dialogue when he tell his students the story, because of censorship and dub over what the actor said. He actually said that two people need to master it and that they to absolutely understand and love each other to pass the Qi between them to becomes immortal. I did an edit that included all changes dialogues for episode 36 with real ending in the discussion section, if you want to watch the ending again. It also have the “love you” part.

Yeah, that’s was the suckest ending. Because of China censorship the production company couldn’t turn in the happy ending, it wouldn’t pass and they couldn’t give the bad ending, where WKX died because that’s not how the producer/director/script writer had as a ending, so they just cut it at CL telling the story and leave in to the viewer to decide if he survived or not. To bypass censorship, because it had already pass censorship screen they can release the true ending as pay extra that’s didn’t need to pass censorship. 😅 they also had to change the some of the dialogue in post-production like wkx asking a-Xu if he would be a immortal with him, “love you” and CL’s story. They change it twice, one for the dialogue to what you get in the Netflix version and the Chinese subtitles, they had to change the Chinese character use for word furnace…😂 because in this type of story the furnace would have sex with the practitioner….my edit version has all the missing part…just spreading how the story was supposed to end.

they both died, Yun lun’s soul is trap in Dark world because he closed the gate that connected the two world and two world are now physical separated. In the original end that they cut, Yun Lun’s got a physical body after 10, 000 years being trap in the dark world, open a school (the running joke he keep on mentioning in the drama) and met up the reborn Shen Wei and his brother as kids and the last line of the drama, he said is that “this time he will keep him” or something like that…but the test audience hate it, so they give you the “good-bye” scene and promise to met each no matter what in void.

A-Xu get physical and emotional more beautiful as the drama process…I keep on saying in later episodes “is he getting pretty…..” 😊 “what makeup are they are using….”🤣

So after watching WOH multiple time and doing edits, in my head the dub voice for A-Xu is now associated with ZZH face. After looking at drama clip to choose the drama to watch, I land on ancient love poetry and one main lead has the dub voice of A-Xu (I think he is the second lead), i keep on picturing A-Xu in clip now….the two actors doesn’t look alike at all….but I keep mental seeing A-Xu the in scene, especially when the voice actor use the soft voice that A-Xu tend to use with WYK……do people have this problem?
