You are not so smart...I know this may not be a popular opinion, but you let your the second male lead symptom…
That’s why he is one of my favorite (non-main) character, his feeling for ZZS is not hard to see and always leave an impression on me....I am a sucker for a romantic.
omg wtf was this ending? I cried so much, I have a headache. How did WKX survive? It felt like a hallucination.…
They told you how WKS survived by letting old CL telling his student that when the two people who learn the Kung fu in the manual, they need to be soulmate and truly love each for the two pass their Qi between the two of them and they become immortal protector of other. This real dialogue that they redub over with what you heard in release version. In the release version, he said the one person act a cauldron for the person to take their damage Qi. (Side note: cauldron is term for sex in these Wuxai novel) the person doesn’t died right away too, so that why WKS survive in both case, one he become immortal and the other he get to live for while, in case when he died, ZZS would partly leave the mountain like YBY to live for few month and died in peace. But in the extra episode 37, (I assume you saw) they said that they became immortals, so they mastered the Kung fu and didn’t died.
As for the kids: the boy is Gao Xiao Lian and Deng Kuan’s son and girl is CL’s daughter. They don’t tell who the mother is. Because of that there are some fan, who theorized that she is actually WKS and ZZS ( remember the cauldron line and they are immortal). And, CL is raising her for them, since they are stuck up on the mountain. My personal theory, they are the reincarnation of Gu Xiang and Cao Wei Ning. Because in the book there is extra for them, where they met up in afterlife, the Tea lady, who give people the forget-me- tea so they don’t remember their past life, feel bad for them. So she tired a red string of fate around their wrist and when they reborn as neighbors ( their family are also close family friend too) the strings became a birthmark and their parent though their fated, so they married them to each other. So getting back to the drama, at wedding scene: Gu Xiang and Cao Wei Ning got red string brackets and the two are born into CL and DK families, which are clan members because the students called Xiso lian clan aunt. So they have a happy ending.
You are not so smart...I know this may not be a popular opinion, but you let your the second male lead symptom…
But just in case. you don’t know what is second male lead syndrome, when you like the Second Male Lead more than the Male Lead. while you want the male lead to end up with the female lead, our hearts also ache for the second male lead and his unrequited love. He always in the shadow and would sacrifice everything for his unrequited love, even his life…he would watch his love go off into the sunset with the male lead and is happy for them because he is selfless for his love.
I would like to give a slow clap for Han Ying....you poor child...love you but...
You are not so smart...I know this may not be a popular opinion, but you let your the second male lead symptom be your downfall. I stand firm that he is so the second male lead in WKX and ZZS romantic plot line. I know he is supposed to loyalist to ZZS, but I don’t see the other 18 loyalist sneaking into ZZS’s old house to caress his flower...^o^ and looking longingly.
Lol, so true. Maybe they just released it too quickly? I thought this series had a rather tight plot for the first…
I think if they had the material to edit, they would. I know they couldn’t shoot everything in the script because of money issue and other issues like it wouldn’t work in real live or time. They only have certain window of time for set in the shooting process. That’s why it was such a dark horse for being a success.
lol..it is call budget restraint and they had to cut down 40-45 episodes drama to 36. So there will be some the…
I think they partial thought it would not be popular enough for people to hang around for a lot of subplots and can burn through the show faster, but I guess something change their mind...? Personal, I think for a good plot-driven drama, 40 episodes is good enough to get the story told without a lot of filler. For examples, Legend of Fei, which I think at its core is basically the same plot and was too much at 51 episodes. It could have shorter, but personal I feel it had more problem then episodes number, e.i. the script. I do sometime wonder if WOH would be better at 45 like planned or staying at 36. It could fix the messy 31-32 episodes, but it could give us un-need / unwanted filler episodes that can drag it down. Or, it fill more detailed on beloved character like YBI or my personal favorite, Han Ying. Or maybe just 40, four more episodes to lay the groundwork for the messy 31-32 episodes. We will never know.

Imaged how messy it would have being, if they were going released the originally cut down number of 24 episodes instead. I think I heard a few month before releasing, they increased it to 36.
okay I am on episode 32 and I do not understand anything! What is even happening? Nothing makes sense? It's like…
lol..it is call budget restraint and they had to cut down 40-45 episodes drama to 36. So there will be some the jumping of the shark and OOC moments. I think they try to explain everything before ep. 35.
I'm ready to receive harsh comments about my unpopular opinion on this series but... I'm at episode 28 and it's…
Don't see why you would need to hide your comment, I think it is fine if you find it boring at certain point or you don't like a character (even if they are the main character, like WKS or ZZS). I know in the beginning there were fan that expressed unhappiness on how WKS treated ZZS at the end, but i didn't see anyone jump on them. You should express your opinion about the show in the show's comment section, that is what it is for. I personal don't think you will labelled as "crazy TU fan", the only one I have seen people jump on here is that poster that keep on pressing for killer and healer and driving everyone crazy. I would think most of the people here are fan of the untamed. Heck, I would suggest you should do a review and write what you don't like or/and like about the show, rate it was you see fit. That's what review are for too. Don't let other people opinion affect you from expressing your opinion. I don't why people keep on bring the untamed up and comparing which is better. However, I will admitted I do being it up for a good fun and discussion. I love both and got obsessive with both. Now I have two fandom to be obsessive about. Most people would have several fandom they love and no need to bash or start a fan-war.
Does anyone else feel when you watching “the honeymoon” part of the WOH that while ZZS, WKS and CL are at home doing their own thing, Xiang is like the older sister off at college? And when they all met agree, it’s like she coming home for Thanksgiving with her new boyfriend...and daddy WKS is not happy...^o^
If you stop at ep36 then it worst ending then the untamed, but if you watch ep37 which it’s real ending and…
You mean the packed last 10 min of “are they going to ending up together, or are they not”. The emotional coaster...they should have just used the scene where they staring at the waterfall and saying they deserve their name as the last scene. It’s just Chinese censorship won’t allow BL drama to have ending scene with the two male leads together in the same physical location ^o^ , unless it’s a sad ending. That why the untamed and WOH has the ending they have...(unless you do what WOH production did and released the final scene as a extra.) Like, I say some viewer (specially Chinese viewers who didn’t know about the extra) thinks the ending is episode 36. You will loved the ending, once you get to episode 37, just don’t stop at 36. If you are going to watch YouTube version, we may get the whole ending with episode 36 combined with 37. Finger-crossed, if not...then I can post 37 ending link for you if want.
If you stop at ep36 then it worst ending then the untamed, but if you watch ep37 which it’s real ending and…
Yeah...but for general viewer, who won’t look deep into it. It can be see as an open-end ending and I can see pessimistic viewer will see as a tragic ending. That’s why I am hoping that they will edit the real ending back in for international fan or include it as the very last episode. I assuming aditin3 doesn’t like open-end ending... ^-^
Does this drama have a happy ending like one better than Untamed because the ending of Untamed left me heartbroken…
If you stop at ep36 then it worst ending then the untamed, but if you watch ep37 which it’s real ending and it a happy one. You should watch it. You would miss out, if not.
It’s nice, they are editing it for fan, but i won’t want they to over edited based on how fan like it, because not everyone have similar taste. I personally would be happy if they just fixed the ending...everything else is a cherry on top.
For me it does rank as one of the top wuxia dramas in recent years. I read on twitter someone's list of wuxia…
I don't think they are taking away his masculine, but the scene are classical heroine scene. There are used to be powerful heroine storyline that interexchange with hero, but they don't really write those kind of heroine anymore.
But in the extra episode 37, (I assume you saw) they said that they became immortals, so they mastered the Kung fu and didn’t died.
