sjae and yuna seems to be on tracks, so there is really no need for more than 1 episode to bring closure to this…
That would be nice re Soo Jae and Yu Na - I always felt their story was underdone. I wanted to see more of their achievements, but I know there was limited space to tell their story more fully.
The two families coming together is a good thing and I like that. The transplant as an option is very rare and with the size tumour she has, it means the cancer will pop up in other places. So, radiation therapy and chemo are needed whether she has the transplant or not.
I felt the writing at times was very bland and bloated and then we had those really good episodes every now and then that kept me coming back for more.
I’m finding the ending to this show is now a big disappointment. Episode 46 was so good, now we get a storyline in the final episodes that undermines all the good work that got the show back on track.
I’m sorry folks but the whole liver cancer storyline is beyond unrealistic. I know this is a drama and anything is possible, however, they could have explored Soo Jung’s treatment plan for a couple of minutes at least. This is a complex disease with a range of treatments that happen - not straight to a transplant. The size of the tumour tends to suggest it’s all a bit too late.
I was hoping for so much more, including the youngest couple being the main focus and having their storyline resolved in a really nice way.
Anyway, sorry if I seem on a bit of a rant, but the first 16 episodes of this show were so good…
The Hong Sisters are back! I think they have excelled themselves with AoS. The start was awesome and then the second half of the series was even better than the first half. Then the final episode - the strongest finish to a kdrama in a long time. It was very well done. Bring on the sequel 😊😊😊
Finally finished Two Fathers. Overall, a delightful family show. The cast was very good, both in terms of the dramatic moments and the more humorous ones. I liked how each character resolved their problems and embraced those around them.
I thought ep10 was quite good - it certainly made up for the last couple of episodes that were very up and down. Sun should have been in show much, much sooner.
I felt ep39 was rather bloated despite the unfolding developments. So, in otherwords I did ffwd through most of it without missing out on the key detail. They also need to stop messing with Yoo Na’s character, though.
Due to my impatience, I would like to see everything resolved tomorrow and then 10 episodes of pure happiness 😂🤣😂
I didn’t love Ancient Detective as much as I thought I would. It’s solid, with the last third of the drama being quite good. Everyone played their roles well, and I liked the idea of chapters re solving the mystery as they went. However, the writing wasn’t quite there for me overall. Anyway, it is worth a look and making that decision for yourself.
Since Soojae and Yuna are 1 of the 3 main couples they will get back together. Writer should hurry though. Since…
It would seem after today’s episode, Writer Nim agrees with your thoughts re Yoo Na and Jung Ho. Let’s hope the story does move quickly now and the young couple can resolve their past 😊
