Ep 14 - This drama has a lot going for it. Joe Chen as Dugu Rou Nan continues to be an absolute delight. I find Si Da very underdone as a character - very wooden, in fact. Other characters are good and Ji Mo, despite his irrational outbursts at times, is a good foil to DRN.
At the halfway mark: overall show is solid. The acting is fine, story elements are good. If there is an issue, it’s the directing and editing. Let’s see what the second half brings 😊
I thought Ep 5 was good and Ep 6 was solid. Show is steady and interesting. Although there are better shows out there at the moment, I find myself compelled to keep watching DL as soon as the episodes come out 😊
What a journey it has been! Good relationships and friendships and interesting legal dynamics. It did wander off a bit in the second half and certain matters and characters faded out towards the end. A worthwhile watch, one or two episodes at a time 😊
Overall, show remains good. However, I have found myself with eps 19-21 ffwd at times. I agree with some of the other commentators - some of the storylines need to wrap up soon.
“Destined to Meet You” has a lot going for it and I found myself anticipating the release of the next episode. The main couple are good together, there is a mystery to be solved and the second couple are a fun watch too. All in all, it’s worth the short investment of your time.
Here we are at the end of Ep 16 and LYJ and SHJ continue to be my favourite couple. They know how to have fun, are of an age that silly things and comments don’t really matter and I think they clearly enjoy each other’s company. I just loved that scene of them dancing in the car park - fabulous 😊
