We should always remember that translating any form of media into another language isn’t easy especially subbing…
They still don't pay their subbers? "Viki, despite expecting users to pay for services, still relies on free labor from fans for subtitles" this is DISGUSTING
It's highly anticipated (best premiere ratings for MBN drama) but Viki's subtitle group ruined it!
I meant it as international anticipation. The subs are slow because perhaps not many international fans are interested in this drama. Some popular shows take only 5 hours to sub, and the ones available on Netflix have eng subs right away,
1. Abandon the love triangle. Or at least make Jung Yu Jin a more sensible guy who tells Han Bi Soo that he likes…
Damn thank you! Also, I couldn't agree more with what you've said. It's like there's no main point to the plot, just some random scenes. As for the writer, he's pretty much done in the industry after this drama lol.
I like that they're working in the same case but not together, it's more fun this way.
Some who've read the webtoon say that in there Goeun is more of a main character than Kang Hana (is she even in the webtoon? I can't remember what those who've read the webtoon said). I just wanna see Esom more because I really like her :c
I like that they're working in the same case but not together, it's more fun this way.
I don't care about the romance tbh, I'm just salty because they've hired Esom but they're wasting her talent as she doesn't have much screentime. She could've been doing a different drama now where she's treated fairly.
This drama sucks, I can't even sit through the 10th episode,. Who wrote this???
a man :)
lmfao sorry I had to. But yeah this drama is an example of a male screentwriter who doesn't know what women want to see in a drama. But luckily not all male screenwriters are as dumb as this one.
I was bored, so here are some of my ideas what would make this drama more enjoyable to me. Go straight to the…
1. Abandon the love triangle. Or at least make Jung Yu Jin a more sensible guy who tells Han Bi Soo that he likes Oh Joo In too, but he doesn't say anything about his feelings to Joo In. Fine, let's keep some rivalry between Bi Soo and Yu Jin for two episodes at most. However, when Yu Jin notices there's chemistry between Bi Soo and Joo In, he backs off.
2. Abandon Joo In telling Yu Jin and Bi Soo that she likes both of them. Make her realise her feelings, yes, but she keeps them to herself and she finds on her own which one she likes as a lover, and which one she likes as a friend.
3. Abandon the stalker cliche from the beginning of the drama. Just, don't. Abort mission. It's 2021, we don't need a prince charming rescuing the female lead.
4. Let's go full melo at this point. We have two interesting plot lines: a character suffering from Alzheimer's, and a character who's dying from cancer. Explore the shit out of those topics. Show that patients suffering from Alzheimer's are frustrated with not being able to remember, that they are scared of forgetting their loved ones. And show that those loved ones are also frustrated and scared of being forgotten. As for the character who's dying from cancer, show that they're scared because let's be real, who isn't scared of death? Show the whole process of coming to terms with the terminal illness; being scared, furious, regretful, accepting one's fate. Or maybe not accepting it at all as not every terminally ill patient can find peace of mind before their death.
5. Full melo part 2: invisible Bi Soo and his upcoming doom. At first I wanted to say that I'd have made his accident happen a little bit later in the story, but let's just leave it as it is. Instead, let's make him start disappearing a little bit earlier, maybe starting from episode 8? Let's show him being confused and scared. Let's make the duration of him being invisible increase little by little with every disappearance. Of course, at first he can't tell Joo In what's been happening to him because she'd never believe him. Or maybe let's make him tell her, but she thinks he's just messing with her, or is overworked from writing the drama script. Now, let's become "Ghost" (the movie from 1990) wannabes. Let's make Bi Soo prove to Joo In little by little that he's being serious with his invisibility. Let's make him tell her things only she should know, but in fact Bi Soo knows them too because he saw/experienced them while being invisible. Let's make Joo In confused and disoriented. Also, let's keep the scene in the restaurant where Joo In gets scared of being touched by "nothing" and leaves in a hurry. Let's also go for the cliche of Joo In getting mad at Bi Soo for telling her "scary" stuff and making her uncomfortable. Now, the melo part. Let's make Bi Soo disappear after the argument, and while at the house, he gets to prove to Joo In that he's been telling the truth. You know, by touch. Let's show Joo In being scared but also worried. Hell, let's add a scene of the "final" proof and let's make Bi Soo and Joo In kiss (a peck on the lips) while he's still invisible, then she opens her eyes and BOOM. Bi Soo's visible again. And let's go for a deeper kiss, why the fuck now. Cliche? Hell yeah, but that would've been a much better and more memorable first kiss. Now, let's add some scenes of the two struggling with Bi Soo suddenly becoming invisible and the only way they can communicate through is by touch (with Bi Soo being the only one who can "give" the touch to be more specific).
And now I'm waiting for the new episodes to see what other ideas I can come up with lmfao.
I was bored, so here are some of my ideas what would make this drama more enjoyable to me. Go straight to the 5th point for the more fun stuff concerning the romance ;) WARNING: Spoilers ahead. And a long comment lol. Also, congrats to anyone who has managed to read the whole thing.
IKK they use way too many cliches in this at the expense of vincenzo its painful to watch i make it thru simply…
ikr? I mean, it's okay to use some cliches here and there as I know sometimes it's hard not to throw in a cliche scene. Not to mention that some cliches are alright when used cleverly, but stopping a whole airplane last minute before the takeoff? Are they even aware of the consequences? lmfao
I like that they're working in the same case but not together, it's more fun this way.
It is, yes. But to make things clear, in my original comment I meant that they did Esom dirty by making her character useless for the first 4 episodes. They could've introduced Kang Ha Na in episode 5 and still the drama wouldn't lose anything essential to its plot.

"Viki's subtitle group ruined it"
what happened?
