Lee Je Hoon playing the board game at the guy's home had me cracking up. The word play on "marijuana (대마초)"…
Hello! Do you study or speak Korean? Or was the joke explained in the subs? Because I watched ep 4 on dramacool and had no explanation of this word play in the subs :c
But anyway, thank you so much because now that scene makes sense!
i need y'all's opinion... do you think go eun romantically likes doki? i personally hope not even though it kinda…
Unfortunately yes, I think so... Why do they always have to put in such a typical plot line. Why does a female coworker always have to have a one-sided crush on a male coworker in kdramas? This trope is so overdone already, it's annoying not cute.
Great directing, dull writing. I feel like it's gonna be the "revenge of the week" type of kdrama with Kang Ha Na vainly trying to uncover the truth behind the deluxe taxi service. Kinda like "WHO'S THAT POKEMON?" of the episode.
Also, we're already 4 episodes in, and they've been doing Esom dirty so far. She's supposed to be one of the main characters, but as for now she feels like a supporting one. The only memorable thing she's done so far is have a quarrel with Kim Do Gi about her blocking the way with her car. But by the preview of ep 5 it seems like she's finally going to have more screen time. Like, it's fucking about time. As for now, it's like they cast Esom only to waste her potential and do nothing with her character.
Why the fuck did they suddenly turn her into a fucking detective wannabe in ep 13? What is this mess? Oh Bong…
"people complain when her character is doing nothing except surviving, and they also complain when her character is coming out of her shell to live"
lmfao I'm not complaining that she wants to survive, I'm complaining because her becoming so invested in the investigation is so fucking out of the blue and just seems to be thrown in there to make her spend more time with Jung Ba Reum and have more resources/means to learn about his true self. OBY becoming a boxing instructor would be more logical considering what has been shown about her hobbies in the drama.
As for Oh Bong Yi (not her existence in general, but the poor writing of her character)...
Why the fuck did they suddenly turn her into a fucking detective wannabe in ep 13? What is this mess? Oh Bong Yi could've had such amazing character development considering her past, but she still remains plain and boring. I believe it's because her character is only to explain/support some of Jung Ba Reum's actions and motives instead of being an individual character on her own who exists for herself, not for the purpose of being another character's assistance.
My understanding is that they often just get the 3-4 episodes and a rough outline. Dramas in Korea are often filmed…
"There are some pretty famous and infamous instances of fan pressure/financer pressure/production pressures forcing the script to change." DAMN, I NEED EXAMPLES ASAP
damn I totally missed that info, where the fuck have I been lol
