I think ep 11 is out today. Yesterday only 1 ep so I’m counting on only one a day. Ep 10 for me was really dissapointing (see comment above). My advice: keep binging Five Enough! 😊
I was really enjoying it but last few eps were dissapointing for me. The fake kissing in the car was cringe and unbelievable. Even more screentime for annoying couple that was really filler. Like the shaman thing. Main couple had no screentime together in ep 10. The lawsuit thing was long and boring. So were the ML work issues.
In some ways Qiao is at fault for his wife’s situation. Not to excuse it but she’s wanted to have his baby…
We know he’s infertile after a accident abroad. We don’t know if this accident also did something to his sexdrive/ability to have sex. Yes he had been avoiding her. But if it was the other way around would you also say she is (partly) to blame for him cheating? In my book there is no excuse for cheating. Also it’s was important to the story that they hadn’t had sex. So it was immediately obvious for him that the baby isn’t his.

For me she doesn’t give of the vibes of the encounter being non consensual. If anything she is acting guilty when she is back home. And later when checking in the bite mark. No pain of sorrow just regret en guilt. In combination with her on Thomas swipe apps it feels more like a hook-up with a stranger. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t (date) rape.

It’s think your right! It is kind of obvious. ML widower with two kids. In laws rich and heavily involved in SIL life, dealing and scheming. FL betrayed bij husband en bestie. China makes the betrayal another level with the taking of property by ex and mistress. And brings ex Mother (original mistress mother was involved). The FL bestie, the aunt/mom, how they meet en fake dating is all ‘new’. To much the same to be a coincidence but also different so you don’t have copyright issues. 😂

Me too! Forr me it’s rare to like more storylines in one show equally. Maybe that’s why I liked this drama so much. SIL (Im Soo Hyang) and brother of the Sung Hoon character (Ahn Woo Yeon) were both also newbies at the time. I didn’t really liked their story as much as the other two.

The original is my all time favorite weekender. A must see! The side couple is Sung Hoon and Shin Hye Sun. It was her breaktrough role. You can watch easily on YouTube.

Ok just watched this on Viki. Is it just me or does this show feel weird? They are really open about sex at first. Even her saying to him that she needs sex in a relationship. Then they have consentual sex. Very consentual with him asking her explicit. So far very aldult (and refreshing). The the day after she ‘forgets‘ that he is there in her bed when she wakes up and she wasn’t even that drunk. Then she tells him pretend it didn’t happen. Huh? Childish! Then later when they are living together the have separate bedrooms. But sometimes they will sleep tigether if they aren’t interrupted by a phonecall or something (again childish scriptwriting). Also their great, I will always be with you, LOVE falls apart real quick. Then the cousin she doesn’t know (even when they are friends an neighbours since birth) comes to get married from his parents place. The without really solving anything they get married and the end. Show gave me wiplash!

You’re right. In the Kdrama he has 2 kids (boy en girl) she has 3 kids boy, girl, girl). Together they are Five enough. It’s nice to have something to watch in een different genre. I have seen 3 eps and like it so far. Husband is even more of a scumbag (stereotype casting, why always him?) and mistress is worse. ML in laws give me same vibe as Kdrama. Extra villan is ex husbands mother (and father maybe). No sidestories (yet) maybe one for the best friend FL and the sister in law ML? Kdrama was 50 eps so had more time to fill. I’m definitly will keep watching.
