I totally agree with you. There are eps that the main couple only interaction is by phone. And I’m watching for them! It doesn’t help that the side characters are really annoying! In FE we had the cutest second couple of family K-drama. I was watching that show for both couples and that doesn’t happen a lot. In most shows a have a distinct preference or don’t care for the other couples at all. But in this show I’m getting more irritated by all the side dishes.
Meaning I couldn’t care less. She is weird but she doesn’t give me strong dislike vibes like the Ex, mistress and Ex mother. Same for FL BFF, I don’t feel her either.
It was a busy few days for me but I catched up 15-22.
I’m really torn here. Sometimes I feel the Main Couple and sometimes I really don’t. I’m still hanging in there but catching up 6 eps felt like a chore. Two eps a day is enough for me of this show. I was really looking forward to them living together but looks like show is going in another direction with an apartment in the same complex. I struggling with the female leads money revenge. I get it she wants to take back what was hers. But using her children, especially when Dami is so vulnerable already, feels wrong. I hate that storyline that only the son is worthy. It’s hard to sympathize with grandma the way she treats her granddaughter. SIL storyline is really ridiculous. Who sleeps while waiting on a job interview? And then lives on their job, a cemetery of all places? I really don’t care for the nut job FL BFF and her love interest. The cheating ex en ditto mistress is boring. Now adding yet another side character in the form of the mother of the mistress to take away screentime of the main couple. Like I said I’m here for the forming of a family. Hope that doesn’t disappoint.
I was wondering about them. To me feels that there is a lot of emphasis on his age (like old man, older then my Father etc) that made me feel like this isn’t the route for them. But shows weird like that so just could be. 😂😂

I agree nothing like Five Enough! But I think the writers stole some basic plot from that show and gave it a (Chinese) twist. For example the FIL is now making a big deal about the money. I believe his going to ‘buy’ the grandchilderen like the FIL of FE (who recently passend away in RL) did.

And if you compare him with Choi Si Won (SJ member 2 years younger) for example it gives generations different vibes. Good acting? Or?
Unpopulair opinion maybe? I saw a glimpse of light at the end of the tunnel this show is. It’s picking up an bit for me. Reason? I think it’s because main CP had screentime. That says it all, doesn’t it. 🫣 Her falling for him only because he is handsome (or she think it is) and he falling for her because she is happy is kind of an thin romantic plot. And for me not believable. But I’m willing to accept that an move on to the more family oriented plot: forming their Double Happiness as a family of 6. Plus Lili Jie. And even the annoying grandparents. The ex can be in the story as catalyst for the family but without succes en much screentime let alone his own story. The SIL can stay at the graveyard and sleep well. I really don’t care about her. Same for the bestie. Nice if she comes to diner sometimes but don’t need her story.
Too bad the ex has to be written this way. His wife needs him so much, wants to work their marriage, yet he chooses…
He is a mama’s boy 2.0. Only loves her. He’s got only the bad genes from both parents. Cheating and egocentrical like his dad. Drama and evil like his mom. It’s a good thing XK dna is dominant in their kids!

Mistress is plain dumb! RUN while you can. Inform MIL the baby isn’t her precious grandson and GO girl. No, she things she can outsmart him with the help of a creep who is watching her for years. And she let’s him in a matter of seconds in on all het dark secrets. Not at all a believable plotline. Even when she reserves all she is going to get.
FIL of ML specialty is making 180 turns, hot then cold. SIL is just like her father. And then the sleeping in an office while applying for/staring at a job? Crazy behaviour in my book!
Almost forgetting the show is about another couple because they are rarely seen on screen together. Not even interacting. EP 13 the beginning is about them, then 35 minutes nothing except for one random text. 🙃
Somebody said this already but the best discription of this show is WEIRD! But I’m still watching. At this point I even don’t know why. Maybe the weird is contagious…

I’m watching that too! 50 eps is an awful lot for a Korean weekender (but not for a show like Love like the Galaxy for example). But if you watch 2 eps a week it’s ok. ML is the same as in Five Enough wich I think is this shows inspiration. That’s show is better then FEB and this one. After 13 eps of this it’s totally going in different direction aka down the drain 🤣🤭 .
