It’s also not consistent. The first eps it was a preview from a scene repeated later in show 1:1. Ep 11 it was a preview with essential information. FL is coming home drunk an has a flashback (in a preview to make it more complex) of herself als a child seeing her mom being hugged by strange man. Scene later in show when the FL is getting home drunk an meeting ML who takes her to her house. The whole flashback wasn’t repeated again. Editing is really questionable.

I think it’s supposed to be creative. Yet it’s more confusing and waste of time then anything else.

I’m totally with you on every point you make. But I’m not sure yet if she brings it up as the girlfriend or colleague and witness. The conversation has barely started.

Purser acted stupid. But I’m unclear about the policy and the cultural aspect regarding customer service to VIP. If this sort of thing would have happened at my workplace security would have been called and the customer would have been removed. VIP or not. I’m not trained as employee and as an manager I’m not training my staff to service and pamper to the extreme. Complaints from VIP needs just as much investigation as any other complaint.

All bystanders were in the wrong here. They should have dragged both flight attendants and purser away and call security for VIP. Instead they watched or walked away. FL was also too little too late. Maybe that’s why she is bringing it up, out of guilt?

The only extreme feeling I have is about this:
‘You should know very well what the consequences are when a VIP files a complaint’.
That’s more about the whole policy and the extremes in wich (VIP) clients are always in the right even when they are clearly in the wrong.

To ML? I think because she understands why the purser snapped.

Then I missed that. But why did she think he was cheating and ghosting her if she knew he was on vacation? Still feels like their storyline is rushed and cut into the bare minimum to only show the scenes who are beneficial for the MC storyline.

My friends call me a process thinker. I’m always trying to figure things out as I go in daily life. That applies to this drama too. Earlier eps I was annoyed by the ‘preview’ wich is shown between opening OST and the episode title (both animated). I figured out quickly that this were previews of some kind but still felt like a waste or rather an attempt to be creative. But in later eps those previews weren’t shown 1:1 again later in show. And the one at the beginning of ep 11 (flashback of drunk FL when she saw her mom hugged by another man) became important to the plot.

I think drama is sadly a victim of bad editing.

Yes!!! I’m not alone. This is exactly how I feel. See my comments I made earlier.

I’m feeling that we’re also missing scenes here. We got the Lu Ming intro, cosplay meeting. Then some sweet moments between him and FL friend compressed into one or two big scene(s).
Then he suddenly isn’t responding to FL friend and he isn’t at home. If he really is such a nice and loving guy he surely would tell his crush he was going on an trip abroad! This doesn’t make sense at all!

She can’t reach him and she doesn’t seem to know his family or friends. But somehow she finds out he’s dead. How? Guessing from the sister who saw his video. Friend FL didn’t know about the video till it was shown at the ceremony wich is also weird to me. But I guess it makes great drama? In the video he talks about watching multiple sunsets and missing her. Then why going on a trip without telling her or calling her from there? I feel this is a double murder of Lu Ming. First his character and his soul. Poor him!

Maybe the novel readers have answers?

Exactly! I rewatched the ending of ep 13 and then the beginning of ep 14 to see what I missed but that strawberry scene really came out of nowhere.

Is it just me or does the drama sometimes feel chopped or missing or mixing bits and pieces? Don’t get me wrong I’m really enjoying it but sometimes it feels off.

Definitely not the only one. She is like 26 and super childish. I was really annoyed by her when she crashed the car. And then later she was so worried she would have to pay for the repairs when ML was slapped by FL. And left her best friend waiting in the rain for a man. Immature, gossipy en childish.
But after today’s episode I thought maybe I was a bit harsh and she as a character is the victim of editing. Because we never see her professionally. I’ve seen her in a uniform once or twice but never in action. Maybe they cut a lot of her scenes and we only got to see the scenes wich are important for the MC storyline. Even her story with Lu Ming was short and rushed. And his story and how she came to know of it, all is short or totally missing. Even the how isn’t properly explained. Just some words in her speech to him.
Editing is off with the preview scenes between opening OST and episode titles also.

Saw ep 11 today on Viki.

1:38 Preview begins with FL coming home drunk. She has a flashback of herself with mom when she was a child. She, as a child, saw a man giving her mom a (for me: non romantic, akward) hug.
2:42 Episode 11 titel (Happy Birthday *3), show begins.
16:57 FL comes home drunk from Fly. Same clothes so for me feels like same scene as preview. But in contrary to earlier episode the preview is not completely repeated. Instead we get ML helping FL get home while she drunkenly talks about her mom.

I really think they wanted to be creative in editing but it isn’t very consistent en (for me) it turned out confusing.

Last weekend I watched all eps of TES so far out. This weekend I binged all episodes aired this week. I’m still hooked but I don’t know if I will have the power to wait an entire week again. And, same with this drama, you have to be really careful with social media. Spoilers and previews are everywhere. And those are almost always the best scenes of the show. When you already saw them it makes the drama look flat when it isn’t.

Maybe. Or the cutting en editing sometimes feels somewhat of. That could be the problem too.

I’m watching on Viki so ep 10 is the latest. Think you already wachted ep 11.
