With a loud mother like that, she wonder why no one want to talk to her😡😡😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬Miyu’s…
You’re so right. I didn’t even notice all. The mom storyline in general is the arc I dislike the most so I’m easily distracted when she on. I really would liked it more if she clearly cut ties with her whole parasite family.
Not a lot happening today but still a nice watch. I really like Tan Jr. The way he gently is there, looks at her affectionately over a simple meal she cooked. The way he noticed her sparkle when talk about art. The way he expresses himself. Not overbearing but confident and clear. Most of the time I really dislike triangles. But here I don’t. Will I end op with SLS?
Is it normal for guest to be this rude? Screaming and almost getting physical with staff? Is customer different in 5 star hotels or is it a cultural thing? All the hotels I ever went (Europe. America) would say: How awful you lost your hearing aid. We will have a look out and contact you if found. And then maybe call around with house keeping but that’s it. And why is the hotels responsibility to recover a lost item. Even if the guest claimed it got lost in the room?
What else this ep? For me it was student in en out hotels, garbage and Tan Jr. No Duan (thank you!), no LZZ, ex or baby update, no influencer ex and minimal MiYu & Kenny G. Seems like bit of a filler ep.
For me: 💯% But be warned this is really slow burn and based heavily on business en character development. I don’t know if I would have be this enthusiastic if I was binging it. Still would have liked it sure but being held back by waiting for the next has it’s charm!
I’m on episode 7, and it’s getting pretty hard to watch with how much her parents are leeching off her. Does…
She slowly grows and realizes it’s not a healthy relationship. She sets boundaries with her stepdad and stepsister. But with the mother not so much for my liking.
What? The mother as a high(er) paid pastry chef and in a hotel room? This is really stretching it far by writer but if I ignore that I still don’t get it. She is a leech and Miyu welcomes her like that. If she was my mother (very different culture I agree) I would tell her some awful truth and cut her out of my life. But Miyu is paying her taxi, letting her stuf herself, throwing tantrum and slapping colleagues without a harsh word. Really unbelievable!
That Duan guy I really don’t get and to me he is just filler. Happy he wasn’t in much scenes today. LZZ always talks with an evil sub tone and when she triggered she is full blown evil. And everybody lets her. Today our ML tried to say something but it was to wishy washy to have impact. The emphasis at the cleaning of the wet floor is a sign something is about to happen. And the way LZZ is recording voice messages while holding an umbrella and wearing high heals makes me think that 1+1 equals a falling disaster with premature labour. Nie’s karma is coming. For me a terminal illness isn’t necessary. I just want him broke and unhappy with his vixen with memories of the good old days.
We are at 2/3 and the romance isn’t romancing. At this point I’m starting to like Mr Tan Jr more and more. His honest en open and doesn’t hesitate. The only thing he has ‘against’ him is that he likes to shield FL. She doesn’t need that, she needs to grow. On the other hand I didn’t see much good actions from ML here eps either. He apologized at behalf om Miyu and mother. Miyu wasn’t at fault. It was her mother and vixen. And her mother most for slapping. He should have punished them both. Maybe that would have set her mother straight (or a bit) and that would help Miyu.
Have I mentioned that I really really really don’t understand what her mother is doing there. 🤡
Saw a lot of comment about:- being bored. I’m not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Don’t agree. He helped…
@Si Ian: You make somehow points! I also like the fact that they are hesitant until they are completely sure. I really get Miyu. Hart says yes but it’s bruised so it’s reluctant. Her mind says no because her past experiences, debt and career. Her hart is protesting because of jealousy. Her mind is slowly coming around hence the painting analogy. I really liked that.
I understand that why lied she put on the spot like that but I don’t like it because she needs to build trust and lies aren’t helping.

I didn’t see a schedule but last week it was Monday en Tuesday 1 ep. So I’m preparing for that. Thanks for the info. Mr Tan jr. comes and goes it seems. He is off painting that enormous piece in the ending credits. 😉

So we agree to disagree 😉. I don’t feel like he is indulging her. He is warm, kind and understanding. He wants to take care of her. Although we didn’t get to see her life with ex I can imaginging him being the same but to here (though fake). True, his actions doesn’t help her evolve or develop but he feels genuinely warm. Like a friend who listens and don’t judge.
The red flag moment for me was that he didn’t say: We used to be close or it’s complicated or we used to be together. But he chose to say that they were in the same college. And off course it’s a drama so it’s ment to be dramatic. But for me the dramatic part is him getting jealous and lose his professional cool. Not him lying.
My take on the ending and next ep is that Tan jr. will explain to ML. What’s your take?
Watched the latest eps and read the comments. Wow, busy here all of a sudden!
Saw a lot of comment about: - being bored. I’m not. - Tan Jr behaviour called toxic. Don’t agree. He helped her. She got drunk all by herself. He helped her again by taking her back. He didn’t spend the night in the room. - shipping Miyu with Tan jr. For me ML is the one she likes romantically. You can feel the tension between them. Tan Jr is great but for me it feel one sided. But I’m not against him. - FL still needs a spine. She’s got one! But gladly we have all kinds of different people in this world. She will never be as aggressive assertive as others in this drama. But she is making progress fitting to her character. iRL people don’t change overnight. The real development with ups and downs that’s what I really like about show. ML takes advantage of 2FL. No way! I would say it’s the other way around. I read a comment somewhere that described him as a real manager. And I think it’s spot on. He think in benefits and wouldn’t turn down a profitable deal because it feels ambiguous.

Just a few hours until the next eps!

For me the real 🚩of today was ML lying about his connection to 2FL. For Miyu who just experienced lies in the worst form by her ex it got to be a blow. I get it that he was put on the spot. Miyu wasn’t real professional in that scene either. But ML was worse and he really didn’t have to lie.
