what's up with the rating?? The first 2 episodes were just too good to even get a mere 8. They 8 more than that!story…
Ratings are negatively rated by bots and troll farms. MDL ratings have been getting worst/unreliable over the years. This would've been an 8.7 - 9.0 if it was ratings 5 years ago.
Moon Baek's philosophy is so wrong and narrow-minded. It sounds nice on paper but it never really works. More guns won't make a country a utopia but an anarchy-driven society with no morals, directions and ethics. The US is a near-perfect example of what Moon Baek had envisioned but US crime statistics are not so great even though citizens bear the right to own guns and defend themselves, with successful instances of people saving lives, but... yet crimes still continue immensely and more brutally compared to countries with regulated/banned gun laws. It is a society and gun problem at the same time that reinforces the mentality of "kill or be killed" fear that Moon Baek was trying to convey.
uhh wtf was that ending?? A set up for season 2? Not what I was expecting here.
and why was our ML suddenly got useless plot wise near the end of the show?? What the hell was his purpose? Wanted to challenge the villain head on about philosophy on guns yet succumb and is confused on his own thoughts/philosophy and just let the bad guy win with no resolve to stop it? Like yeah checkmate you won, I don't know what my stance is on guns anymore; you're right. ???? whatever happens to we can solve problems without guns???
Summary of drama so far:ML is a guy suffering from past trauma meets people just like himGoes to fight injusticeBeats…
frr like when is bro gonna get his development arc?? The power scale needs to be balanced because the bad guys are whooping him and his team's ass every time.
Finally, now our Air head MC/ML will actually LOCK IN. They really gotta stop treating the villain like he's some thug but an actual mob boss/mafia who could wipe them all out if he wanted to.
He has Parkinson's disease. Early stages. Ending of Episode 5 gave the hints away by mentioning a quote of Muhammad Ali and his battle/legacy with Parkison's disease.
I never watched Alchemy of souls ,heard a lot about that and Lee Jae Wook performance in Alchemy of souls ..But…
Not watching Alchemy of Souls is a crime atp. Even if u dont like historical genre, it's very engaging and literally has become a modern classic. Start now!!
