because since she exists, it means Gwi-Joo in the future already went back and saved her, which means present Gwi-Joo is a ticking time bomb meant to go back in time at some point in his life to save her and become "future" Gwi-Joo and therefore continue the loop. She wouldn't exist if he never went back and saved her. Time is complex like this in real life too.

Since Gwi-Joo's son can bring back "lost" things/people back to him, I wonder if with that power, he could bring dead people back? or it only works if they are living, no matter what world or dimension it is, they just have to be alive and existing.

imagine if they pull a Goblin ML fate on us lmao. Like our ML actually disappears and "dies" but somehow with the power of genius writing, he comes back, and it all connects together :o

not easy when you literally bonded with a person, it is not easy to let go and move on EVEN if you love yourself. Your empathy and love for others is strong. Happiness is sometimes based on a person if that person saved them, and losing that person is essentially losing yourself, and to save yourself from this is asking for a lot. So, it is not obsession but basic human affection.

personally, this is the only good drama airing rn. It stands out so much from the others despite being a romance, it doesn't become corny or anything like that.

she becomes a really nice person later on since she slowly starts to show her true colors and below all that con face you are presented at first, she's actually a kind soul. Hopefully this is enough for you to keep going.

people are just used to fast pacing and plot development, it kinda ruined their attention span a little. Most nowadays don't even experience that satisfying slow burn for character development or plot development, sometimes writers like to marinate the plot DEEP so we can actually feel closer to them.

i dont think the ex wife was used as a tool or a scapegoat for our ML to do whatever he's doing in the present. She just happens to meet her fate and destiny and that event branches further into our ML's life because HE chose his path and sufferings that caused most of this. It's a butterfly effect, not his ex wife being used as a tool for ML to save Da Hae and fall in love. So don't feel too bad about it if you think it like this.

uh oh, i sense a bittersweet/sad ending. I know the show tends to make the "future predictions" completely polar opposite so Gwi Ju dying can be kinda ruled out, I am more worried for Do Da Hee's death though as she could be used as someone who was the key and his answers for his happiness but I don't like this route since it makes her feel like an object to be used like how everyone was to her. I'm letting them cook with these last 3 episodes, fingers crossed!

might be a good thing that it's 12 episodes since 16 episodes drama tend to drag a lot near the end and kills the momentum of the drama. Who knows.

Ina actually encourages her Father to go after Dae Hee since she knows the FL is the key for her father's happiness and for them to have a proper family.

episode 7 is really good, it's starting to pick up that hook and climax-ish. I again, whole heartedly ask and wish for the writer to give us a father-daughter bonding moment at some point because who wouldn't want to see Gwi-Joo and Ina cute moments together and healing and finally BE that one family/father figure Ina always wanted and needed to fully express herself and not feel like a mistake and free her from the bullying or those looking down on her.

I can see some chemistry going on, it's just a lot more different compared to traditional kdramas. Everything in this drama is very "Atypical" or odd/weird in some way.

The ancient scrolls about their powers said that mutation of their powers comes at a price (being Gwi Joo losing his wife and mental health). So it might not be Gwi Joo's fault entirely.

the drama is refreshing and new because it's aiming to be "atypical" in themes of both the plot and the atmosphere. I love it. It's challenging the current Kdrama trends and directions along with tropes.
