I like how real this drama is. Simply chaotic mess. This cancer arc brings me memories of a close friend who was…
I love dramas that are realistic in a way because you can actually take away something from it and learn. This drama blew my expectations away as I thought it would be another fluffy romcom per usual (which isn't bad btw), but it's a nice melodrama romance with some spices of comedy.
wow, episode 9 is just amazing. The angst, the drama, and the relationships forming. Atp, I don't even care for comedy anymore since I am so invested into this story already.
Disney+ dramas are hit or miss but man when they do HIT, it is crazy good. Very different from other kdramas. It's like a nice blend of Western cinema with Kdramas.
damn this has massive The Worst of Evil vibes, i'm guessing JCW will play a morally gray character like he did in The Worst of Evil. I just hope it isn't too predictable. Either way bro looks badass and hot as usual with his slick back aggressive/gritty look. Also happy to see BIBI again like on The Worst of Evil.
From the comments I've seen, I get the feeling that a lot of people are confusing concepts with impressions. I…
it's hard for them to communicate clearly because they are best friends and when feelings start to develop in this "best-friend" stage, it is awkward and difficult to confess anything at all. It will mostly be a lot of "masking" whenever they are trying to communicate something that they WANT. Not to mention the fear of losing your best-friend for life over confessing your feelings, things like this happens in real life and it has ruined many friendships. Not everyone does this though, but most do.
I liked ML's ex character a lot. She is just giving him instructions on how to confess his true feelings + how…
she's just an overall mature ex-girlfriend that understands that she loves somebody who never had eyes for her in the first place; yet still care for him as her "lover". Thus, she broke up with him after realizing this. So, this says so much about her character since she didn't just break up with him because of childish reasons but actual rational reasons.
We're all rooting for her to find someone better that fit her needs, not somebody who clearly doesn't have eyes for her. And it's not the ML's fault at all too because this is just how love really is, it's life, it's harsh and gentle.
it's clearly a slow burn romance, it's probably not your thing. Moving from friends to lover quickly and easily…
I'm guessing you're new to Kdramas and Korean culture. The things you mentioned are called cliches and has been around Kdrama for a long time. You were asking Korean people's view on this drama and it appears that they still love it and all the cliches that are present. I think you're better fit for romantic melodrama kdramas. They usually don't have some of the issues you've pointed out.
I'm just shocked. How can the writer make such a big mistake, thinking people will buy into it? The story is stuck…
it's clearly a slow burn romance, it's probably not your thing. Moving from friends to lover quickly and easily is just unrealistic. We're still only on episode 7. You don't want things to develop too fast and leaves the remaining episodes to be just fillers and unnecessary dragging of the story. My Demon was an example of moving too fast.
this is more like a one long movie being split into different parts as episodes, hence why it's relatively short unless they're doing what Death's Game did with a second part.
you loved your family and wanted to be with them but stayed away while your daughter took care of the family.…
not another loan, he probably dealt business in the gangster scene after the divorce and was probably the bottom sucker/loser for most of his life/time. He must've climbed the ladder and out of that pit of hell by taking advantage of whatever figurehead he was being in debt to. Most likely own a company or some form of assets to be this rich. And now it looks like he plans to make up with his family for good with what he has built in a way of saying he's sorry but instead of through words, it's through his actions to show that he cares and is committed.
My theory sml try to do sucide. Ml jump to save him. As I could feel sml is guilty but not guilty enough to have…
wow... maybe thats why he cant speak or open up about what ACTUALLY happened at that bridge, because doing so would expose both him and his brother's intent that night...
everyone look so cool here, I wonder if they're going to give us a bunch of morally ambiguous/gray characters or be black and white as usual. Basing of the synopsis and description, it doesn't seem like anyone here is the "good" guy, everyone is after their own goal and objective; either for survival or pride/ego. Very interesting to see where this will go.
it's a little weird and slow start, but I sorta see some potential going on here once the leads connect and bond over their past and present and discover things about themselves. I gotta say though, even though this is a mix of romcom and melodrama, I definitely like the melodrama vibes a lot better and whenever the ML gets serious and mature as a person, he's pretty likable. So, hugee massive potential.
We're all rooting for her to find someone better that fit her needs, not somebody who clearly doesn't have eyes for her. And it's not the ML's fault at all too because this is just how love really is, it's life, it's harsh and gentle.
