the romance is on the side kind of thing. It's a subplot that shouldn't interfere with the main plot too much.

IU can definitely act, but every actress and actors have their own style, and them having different styles doesn't mean they are bad. You just can't compare good actresses and actors together lol. Jiwon fits the role of Hae-in very well because Jiwon's acting style just happened to be a perfect match, now if IU were to act as Hae-In and hypothetically performed and acted differently compared to Jiwon, it doesn't necessarily equate to IU being bad. Moral of the story, it's impossible to compare two very known and good actresses on a scale.

He's a narcissistic manipulator. One that is lovestruck. But a bad one. His plan is to slowly coerce and manipulate her sense of reality and awareness by trying to implant fake memories to cause a rift, not know he leaves behind crumbs and towering down all the perfect things his mother had done for him. He is shown this way on purpose to showcase his cockiness, reckless nature, naive personality, and narcissistic personality as a character, I don't think he was meant to be portrayed as a smart and cunning villain, our Male Lead actually takes on that title instead.

It might be more of a personal thing rather than her agency not letting her act. We don't know. But I understand why she takes long breaks because she as an actress pours her soul into every single performance that she stars in, so it can be exhausting and demanding.

their dramas and acting performances are so good that we don't need content every single time. It's like eating a very expensive meal/cuisine and you're savoring all the flavors and feel satisfied even after you finished and go home. Each to their own, but I think acting is a very demanding and talented profession, so we cherish every performance and not push our actresses to continuously act, act, act.

She never disappoints in the drama she stars. And she's really good at picking dramas to act in very well too, with her recent dramas being VERY ambitious titles (Happiness, Moving, and now Blood Free). She's like the equivalent to Hollywood level acting or even better.

don't lose hope yet, they might throw in a little "Slight Romance" in between episodes and scenes. But it may not be highlighted as the main plotline. Either way, you can kinda say their chemistry is equivalent to romance-ish?

yeah she's proven herself to be really good at acting based on her resume, achievements, and awards. And she still looks so young too
