I feel like I should hate this show because it's terribly written, most of the cast can't act to save their lives, and I don't like Keifer or Yuri for JJ (why couldn't David be single?), but oddly enough, I find myself enjoying it. Maybe because I really don't have anything to watch or maybe because it's so bad it's good? Who knows but if there's a second season I'm a hundred percent going to tune in.
I'm more excited about Ju Ji Hoon as Soveshi and Lee Se Young as Rashata (I just hope she doesn't get hate because that's one of the most hated characters in a webdrama).
The FL's dad is the definition of self-preservation. He would sacrifice his friends, wife, kids, parents...etc just to live for another day. He's lowkey the worst kind of villian because he has no bottom line.
I enjoyed the first season, but this one was pretty boring. There weren't enough friendship scenes, the surgeries scenes were not as interesting as they were in the first season (by the last two episodes I actually started to skip them), and I didn't like the romance between Jeong Won and Gyeo Ul (they had no chemistry and there romance was just like watching paint dry) & and Jun Wan and Ik Sun's sister (I actually despise the sister and wholeheartedly belive that Jun Wan deserves better). The only couples I liked didn't even become a couple until the drama was basically over.
I don't understand how and why this is rated higher than the first season, but I digress.
I'm surprised as well at some of the philippino dramas I've watched as well. They aren't afraid to turn a Wattapad story into a drama (some of us grew up/enjoy reading these types of stories so I was so happy to see them being adapted.
And I watch BL and GL; like you said as long the chemistry is good, the plot is always secondary to me. I rated Chasing In the Wild a 10/10 because I loved Sevi and Elyse.
We also share the same excitement. I literally have the meal planned and time set aside so I can watch the first episode that's how I excited I am.
Watching one episode of this drama a week is going to be torture๐ฉ . I binged the other three months after they aired, but I don't think I can be patient and wait till July when it's all over.
This had a lot going for it at the start but took a dejactory down to the point I feel like I completely wasted my time; especially with this ending. Should have just skipped to the last scene of the last episode so I wouldn't have wasted my time. This is a 7/10 for me.
