I've been in a drama slump since June, and this was the first drama that I've managed to finish. It was a 10/10 for me. I enjoyed every single episode.
I really enjoyed the other 3 (especially Chasing in the Wild) but this one isn't up to par with those. Sam and Clyden's chemistry is good but the overall story just sucks. It really peaked at episode 10 and then just went down from there.
I completely agree. I felt like most scenes were fillers, just to reach the end of the very long episodes. Some…
I was waiting for Seok's mother and Minha to meet. It's such a wasted opportunity. Unfortuantly I don't think they'll be a season 3. The focus is on the spinoff, now.
In female-centered dramas, MLs are always stupid toys. Why performative feminism everywhere?
It's a comment section so I'll continue to yap all I want No one forced you to reply to me. And no they don't always give FL's a good storylines in these kinds of dramas. Tian Xi Wei was dragged just this year as the FL from Guardians of the Dafeng (a male centric drama). All I wondered if the Fl was actually going to have a substantial storyline and not just be there as the ML's love interest and some how this has got you pressed??

Name a Female-centric drama where the ML is "a stupid toy" and doesn't have his own storyline and or agenda? The two most recent popular female centric dramas: The Glory and Flourished Peony, male leads had their own storyline outside of the FL. And from what @AndiFlower96 has stated the FL has her own storyline and isn't used solely as a romantic interest. So, clearly it can be done. I don't understand why you're so pressed by my comment.
No hate to Cecilia Liu and Leon because I really enjoy their romance but whoever cast and wrote the storyline for these side couples deserves a raise. Every single side couple has had me invested. Tomorrow I'm looking forward to more Ryan Ding and Meng Ziyi's pairing.
Xiao Wu's death was completely avoidable. It's common sense if someone wants a character dead to have hella security surrounding them and with Zhang Rounan's character being the FL's bestie you think she'd have made that happen. Her and the ML cooped up with the carp demon while Xiao was getting tortured pissed me off.
And I hate it when characters kill themselves when the other person/ people do everything in their power to make sure they stay alive. It just seems like a complete waste.
I don't see how people can compare this to Fangs of Fortune the deaths on that drama made sense, here, it seems like they're killing characters just to kill them.
ML has changed into Liu Xue Yi. I love this pair too. It'll be amazing if Steven & seven pair in a modern plot…
I'm kind of over seeing Liu Xue Yi in costume dramas. He's a good actor but this pairing does nothing for me. I'm still going to watch because I love Seven Tan.
Well at least the leads dont die in the end that itself is better then FOF! lol
But FOF gave us hope that the leads might be reunited, though. Here there was zero indication that they will see each other again. And that's worse in my opinion.
It was fine. I gave it a 7 solely based on the romance, but I have zero desire to watch the second season. Maybe I would have liked it more if I wouldn't have watched Section E first.
