I just started watching today (currently on episode 6) and it's so funny and entertaining. I don't get the critiques and I wish people would stop comparing it to Joy Of Life. Joy Of Life is not the originator of this kind of concept. Let both shows be their own identity and let's enjoy them separately.
The hype is actually justified with this one. 10/10 from start to finish. Not once did the quality deplete or become boring. The fast pace, the chemistry between the leads, and the smart FL really made this drama perfect.
This drama gives "don't judge a book by it's cover". The start wasn't the best and the drama is it a bit ridiculous but the characters are so loveable that you can't help but love it. The way the ML is so gentle and sweet to the FL and how effortlessly kind the FL is what makes the show worth watching.
I will say that I wasn't to into the second couple because their romance didn't seem organic; especially after the writer introduced that specific plotline (I hate that trope).
Shin Min Ah as Navier is perfect casting. I don't know what people are talking about in the comments. Lee Jong Suk as Heinery is quite perplexing though. Byeon Wooseok is better suited for the role.
Love triangle? Evil parents who try to ruin the leads relationship?
I wouldn't consider it a love triangle. The ML was never interested in the 2FL and the 2FL wasn't in love with him. The ML's father was technically the only evil parent. But rest assured his way of ruining their relationship is so minimal compared to other dramas and it never made a real dent in the main couples relationship if anything it made it stronger.
On the last episode he's going to New York and so is Riri. There was no mention of Pheang and everyone around them was shipping them. That's why I don't think him and Phaeng are a thing which if I'm being honest, I'm glad. To me Riri is better suited for him but it's all in preference.
It's kind of open ended for them. They don't say if they're together or not but I don't think they are; just on really good terms. In the last few episodes the writers are trying to make Trai and Riri a thing and honestly it makes more sense if he does end up with Riri.
I love both actors (especially Seo Hyun Jin) but the buildup to the actual mystery of the "Trunk" fell flat for me. It's not a bad drama--the romance between the leads is really good and the only thing that makes sense in this convoluted "plot?"
The trailer looked really good. I do hope going forward in 2025 that the English translation of Cdramas won't consist of the word "blossom". It's oversaturated at this point.
I can't stand Zeng Di either. She's very weird towards the FL. I saw a spoiler saying Quizi's character isn't part of the FL's life at a certain point and I'm okay with that and I'm glad it gets addressed. Anyways thanks.
After TSY used The Sword and Brocade to copy queen Zhao Liying's Story of Minglan, it was a big failure. Now she…
You know you can be a fan of more then one actress right? Your obsession over bashing Tan is weird. Why are you even under her new drama with this nonsense?
I wasn’t planning to watch this since it's more I think like business centered drama and I had a feeling this…
Nope you aren't the only tired of that trope. I was kind of annoyed when I saw that was there connection; luckily the drama is good so I'll overlook it.
