Every time the FL's former husband is around she gets emotional and her hands start to shake in panic before she reels herself in. Her former husband is the exact same way and I love that they added that in. The writer/director could have glossed over those aspects and just let her focus on her revenge and keep that lack of emotion she usually has throughout the show but doesn't. And even though I could give two F's about her former husband I like the inner turmoil he and his family go through when they see the FL. There guilt eats them alive every time they see her and I'm here for it.
I didn't expect her to have such a small role in The Double, but she killed it. Her acting gets better with every drama she's in. I can't wait to see what drama she chooses next.
I'm perfectly okay with the romance taking the backseat and revenge being the main vocal point in this drama. If my husband did what hers did to her, another man wouldn't even cross my mind.
THE GOOD: -The FL's best friend. She reminded me of Samantha from Sex and The City. She's very charismatic and has her best friends back like a real one. -The ML starts off as a huge red flag but as the show continues on he's so charming and lovely to the FL that a multiple times I questioned why exactly he was into her. -Liu Da Wei. When I tell you the character development was great with this one. I disliked him and never even though of paring him with the FL's best friend but boy was I wrong. I am still confused why her other LI was so abruptly written off though. -The kissing. I really never pay attention to kissing scenes unless they really stand out. This show has some of the best kissing between leads, I could feel the FL's hunger for him during that first bedroom scene. -The scene with Jasper taking a shower. I think I rewatched that scene more than I liked to admit.
I'm conflicted by the ending and the last episode in general. I feel like the writer could have gone a completely different route. I'll give this an 8.5 because the first 8 episodes had me hooked; you though one way going in and then your opinion changes when everything gets revealed. This is one of Jing Boran's best roles.
Having that surgery is more common then you think. Parent's usually have their child circumcised as a baby because the process is more painful as an adult but their are a lot of parents that opt out of getting their child circumcised be it for religious reasons or because they think it's better for the child or their afraid of the risks. As an adult they finally get to have that option.

What does a person's race have to do with disliking an actor? Your constant need to remind us that black people aren't fans hers is not needed. You can just say anti-fans because that's what they are.
I have only four episodes left but I find myself hating 90 percent of the cast
The FL is a not only weak but a complete doormat, the ML is moron that constantly lies to her, the second FL is an obsessive weirdo with psycho tendencies aimed at the FL, the 2ML is also a doormat with a hobby that consists of stalking the FL, the Dowager is just pure evil and that fact seems to be glossed over by everyone; even though she's the main cause of everything bad that happens.
The thing that riles me the most is that terrible things happen to the FL throughout the course of the drama but does the ML give her a guard or two for protection? No. He does nothing and we have to expect the 2ML to save her every time. I never wanted a couple to divorce more than these two. Her doormat and weakness aside she's a sweet girl and deserves better than the ML.
I can't see myself rating this drama higher than a 7 but depending on how these last four episodes go it might become lower.

THE BAD:
-The FL's indecisiveness was a constant annoyance throughout the drama. I can understand at the start because the ML did start off as a red flag but when she realized she had feelings for the ML she should have ended things with her boyfriend.
-The ML's constant pursuit of the FL. I'm a big proprietor of that usually but I just wish he'd stop and let her do the chasing for once.
-The ML's ex and the FL's fiancƩ. Even when they're dumped they don't stop literally until the last episode. It gets draining to watch two people be so desperate.
Overall I did enjoy the drama and rated it an 8. I could see myself rewatching this in the future. It was entertaining to watch.
