I don't agree with people calling Xu Kai's character a villain. His character feels more or less like a grey character. He isn't hiding his intentions and he has also given the FL valuable advice numerous times. She has chosen not to take said advice and stick to her morals. I can't fault her for wanting to do the right thing but I can't praise her either. She makes it accessible for people to use her.

This was a good watch. I loved how clingy and romantic the ML was and how he never bottled up his feelings when it came to the FL. When he realized he was in love with her he let her know; consequences be d*mnd.

I also really loved the FL she was strong and resilient. There was a lot of pushback because of their relationship and on numerous occasions it seemed liked it'd be easier if she would have just ended things; but I loved how she never once thought of breaking up with him to appease anyone else. You don't see that often enough in dramas.

I love Gina Jin. She always has amazing chemistry with her co-stars. I'm going to have to watch this when it airs.

The FL's mother is just shameless. The way she treats her son and her husband is also despicable. I don't know how they all can live under a roof with her.

The FL's boyfriend was way too passive with his family. This is a clear indication of how marriage life will be. They'll talk and treat the FL any kind of way and he'll sit back and apologize on their behalf afterwards.

Really good drama. It didn't feel like a short drama. Highly recommend.

I agree. I viewed the trailer before I watched and I saw him cleaning and washing dishes and spending time with the FL's family. He seemed right at home. I just saw people in the comments referring to him as the typical cold CEO/boss and I just didn't get that vibe while watching, so I didn't want to deter anyone because he has layers to him.

I've watched all the episodes and I l really enjoyed it. The FL is very sincere and kind. I'm not a fan of her mother but I also understand why she wants the best for her daughter. Xu Kai's character comes across as cold and aloof but from that tidbit we got about his family in EP. 3 I feel like there's more about his character that we'll discover in later episodes. This is going to be a slow burn and I'm here for it.

Have you watched Born To Run? It came out this year and she killed the role as one of the main leads. She was surrounded by Veteran actress and held her own.

Same. It's like we got an update on how their lives are doing years later. I wish more dramas would do that. And of course I was happy to see the demon getting her happy ending as well.

10/10 from start to finish. It could have ended in episode 38 but they decided to bless us with an extra episode. I'm going to miss this show.

I've only watched seven episodes so far and I'm not loving this nor will I say that I'm hating it. I came in expecting strong female woman with a dash of sisterly bonding but I'm not seeing it for these women ( well mostly Liang Qing Ran she is not a girls girl). The only thing I have enjoyed with certainty was the food and the relationship between Gu Da Peng and Chen Dong.

But like I said it isn't bad and it's an easy watch. So I'll finish it till the end.
