1.) You're not a Liu Yuning fan. 2.) Zhao Lusi is drop dead gorgeous 3.) Liu Yuning is incredibly handsome 4.) Real Liu Yuning fans look forward to all his projects 5.) Song Zuer and Zhao Lusi are almost the same height so the father/ daughter reference is ridiculous 6.) The chemistry between Lusi and Yuning in The Long Ballad was arguably the best part of the drama. They look amazing together. 7.) Flop where? The Story of Pearl Girl is one of the most anticipated dramas. 8.)You're a hater; through and through. No one cares about your blessing.
I know we've been fed quite a lot of Lin Yi's dramas this year but I'm not complaining. Him having a multitude of dramas airing in a year is no more different from Xu Kai or Miles Wei.
This was such a beautiful and sad drama. I cried for hours while watching. This wasn't an easy watch because you so badly want a pebble of hope that things could turn around and the ML would be healthy again, but we all know that ALS doesn't have a cure.
Lin Yi was amazing as the ML. You could tell he did he research on an ASL patient. His emotions were raw and at times I forgot he was acting. Landy Li also did an amazing job as the FL. So many lines she delivered could only be impactful by a strong actress. It wouldn't have hit my heartstrings if she wasn't good at her job.
I say that all to say. This is a 9.5 for me. I'd have given it a 10/10 but Xin Di was so loud and obnoxious from the first episode to the last. I truly couldn't stand her character. There would be a beautiful or sad moment and then she'd ruin it ( I was incredibly peeved by the snow scene that she made all about herself. It was meant to be a beautiful moment between the leads).
The opening music with fight scenes is always *chefs kiss*. They really took their time making this drama and you can tell. I hate waiting everyday for new episodes. ðŸ˜

What are you talking about? Where in my comment did I say I disliked Chen Duling???? I literally said it was unfortunate that it was hard for her to get a costar for this drama. I have praised her under Fangs of Fortunes when it was announced she was going to be the lead months ago.
We probably won't get this drama until 2025 or late 2024 if we're lucky. So, they have time to revert the title back or give us something better. I'd even settle for Pearl Curtain and Jade Curtain again. This is like West Out of Yumen (now known as Parallel World) all over again.
I do think the drama should have ended episodes ago but I do think the last episode was really well done. I enjoyed both couples (really great chemistry). I will say, I though Jeong Woo parents would have made more of an impact in the show or at least the last episode but overall decent drama and I don't regret watching. It's an 8.5 for me.

The love triangle honestly isn't annoying at all. For this story in particular I think it was very much needed because you can see the difference between both males and realize that the first ML is the perfect person for the FL.
The FL is pretty over the 2ML in the late 30's and if I remember correctly she gets married to the 1st ML in EP 40 (I know it's a long time but it's worth the wait). The FL does not pine over the 2ML. She's fully devoted to her marriage and the ML. It's subtle when she falls for him but overtime you can tell. There one of the best couples in Dramaland, you won't be disappointed.
