Maybe it's just me, but if I were the screenwriter and numerous actors turned down my script, I'd take it as a que to go and revamp said script.
Personally I'm all for second chance romances but this script doesn't seem that interesting so I could just imagine how this could be stretched out for 12-16 episodes.
I'd love to see her in a Republican era, military (where she's a nurse) or retro drama (starts in the 70's). Basically something completely unexpected. Her playing a slave in Story Of Pearl Girl makes me think she wants a role that challenges her.
If Yoku was smart they'd have released this after seeing how well A Journey to Love and My Journey to You did. It's obvious people crave strong women that happen to be assassins.
The episode ended right before the real fight was about to start. 😭 The identity of the Young master is coming off obvious, but can't lie my heart will break a bit when it's confirmed.
because of her poor management😅 they can't even find a endorsement for her i keep commenting to her studio…
I hope she'll be able to get out of her contract soon. I don't want her to be in the same situation as Jeremy Tsui. She's a great actress and she deserves better.
I've been love XYL in The Legend of Shen Li. He's a good actor and incredibly handsome. The visuals between him and CD will be gorgeous. They couldn't have chosen a better actor for the role.
Nooo I thought the ML will be Alen fang, they are perfect together plus I already read half the novel Alen fang…
That pair was never going to happen. The whole issue being that Alen Feng would get second billing to Chen Duling and he's a much bigger name then her (especially after A journey to Love) so there was no way he'd agree to that. I mentioned below how male actors turned down the role because of that.
I was entertained in the beginning but by the seventh episode I was becoming incredibly bored. Overall a 7/10. But that's because the start was strong and the acting was really good. Still can't believe this is Jang Da A's first acting role.

IQIYI themselves said it's coming back.
