I saw the last two episodes were available at 8 pm local time, but I waited until 10 pm to watch it, so I could watch my currently favourite drama 'War of Faith' afterwards. Just because I had expected much rubbish ending they would have 🤗 I want to clear my soul almost immediately!
It was so bad that for the first time in my life, I had an anarchic urge to curse the writer! I remember how 'Start-Up' writer messed up their drama so badly, but never once did I have this evil disgust towards the writer. As a writer myself, I understand how hard is it to create a story. And I know that each of them tried their best for their craft, and I want to respect it. But the 'Impossible Heir' writer was so messed up, I don't understand why it even passed the screening process. It is so lazy in writing and has not even fulfilled the bare minimum! The pace is a mess. The plot is ridiculous. The characters are flat. The main character barely has a foundation and is even so inconsistent and weak. Almost a lot of their backstory was used as a tool of plot instead of material to build layers. Take Tae Oh's parents for example, whether at the beginning of the story or the end of it, they were used solely for moving the plot to the next stage with quite crappy execution. It's a good idea to make his mother's death a reason to build up anger and action, but it is too abrupt and ugly. Not saying anymore, I am done with this! Not even worth reviewing. I was laughing in disbelief as they showed a ridiculous utopian ending where everybody suddenly became wise and nice.
The drama itself has massive potential but is executed like an impulsive naive college freshman project with a lot of money. The only thing this drama did well was casting a lot of good actors (Hong Suzu is an exception).
Such a waste of resources! I hate how the supposed to be 'professional' writer&/producers that create a craft for the sake of art and profit disrespect the actors and the story like that! I managed to come this far just because this drama only has 12 episodes, I was curious how they ended it, and I have piled up anger hahaha bye!
You Lan vibing lol 😆 Carried by drama and ended up watching it all night long 🤭🤭🤭 Then the Internet lagging randomly on the most important part of the drama 🤣🤣🤣 Seems familiar #not me# 🤗
I must ask, is this worth the watch? Ive seen great reviews of this on douban and mdl, but these dramas always…
The only way to enjoy Min Guo type of drama is basically to turn off your brain that connects to your political view. Don't hate it, be careful not to get convinced by it too. Just don't feel it and simply degraded the political value inside as something like a fairy tale 'happily ever after' kind of thing
If I became the Secretary, I would be jealous too lol 😂 wdym, I worked hard all this time do my best and a newcomer stepped over me just like that. One would find it hard to be objective with their own life
I think only the caster of this drama that's done their job right! Excluding picking up Hong SuZu, which is ridiculous that she had limited track record and immediately main character like hmmm
its not his acting but how one dimensional his character is imo
Jun as an actor, played quite diverse characters throughout his career. He was once a kindhearted and romantic firefighter, an arrogant and talented idol with trouble of his own and warm inside, he even played that amazing performance in a BDSM-themed film as an assertive in Love and Leashes. That's why I said he didn't lack of talent! He's a good actor on his own. But this drama has too many good actors lah. Besides, in almost all episodes of his performance are dominated by violence. Whether it's his smiling bubbly face or scheming face, thrilling face, or angry face all concluded into one box, 'I want to die and the whole world has to die with me too!', 'I have bad childhood and lose my mom and fucked up life, I am the victim here, so the whole world owed me my life'. A combination of bad writing and bad interpretation. Need more than just a good actor to pull up a performance with such crappy writing 😅
He wants to play a big game. Because he came from poverty and hunted by his abusive father. He craves power thus…
That's what make tge story ended up trashy. Because even the maker di not know what they wants! Understandably, if they still have 4 or more episodes to go. But we only have two left and no clarity.

By the script, HeeJu's character is more two-dimensional. And do we hated her? Even when she persistent on TaeOh after being rejected? Or we irritated by her acting performance?
Jun's acting is not bad. I didn't say he cant act. All the character in this drama have a problem because of our lazy ambitious script writer. But we watched it anyway, because most of the actors and actresses were actually play it good. Yet there I was, irritated by Jun's and Suzu performance as much as the dull characters they played.
the bromance we never expected was Chairman and Taeoh
Yeahhh!!! We speak same language!!! I skipped InHa and Hye Won parts and straight to the chairman and Taeoh scenes 😅 I somehow wished it is a Makjang drama and they decide to make a twist that TaeOh was actually the chairman's son not InHa 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Have they explained yet what Tae Oh's original goal with all this was? I keep checking back because it's literally…
He wants to play a big game. Because he came from poverty and hunted by his abusive father. He craves power thus he tried to invest/ use Inha as stepping stone to that big game he wanted. But I guess even the writer forget about TaeOh original intention mentioned in episode 1. Because he/she lost in his/her own story 😆 I can't believe Tae Oh was genuinely tried to make InHa the chairman and have no backup plan thus resulting him messed with only a simple betrayal from InHa. Such messed up story lol 😆
Now recommend me some really good one so I can recover from this rubbish! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
