I knew it when I read the Manhwa that this story has so much drama potential in it. But I love how the drama version turned out more dramatic than the Manhwa version :') lol Park Min Hwan in the drama become more violent and frequent, what happened?! :D
Of course, I am excited for the long-waiting Joy of Life second season. But one thing I wondered too was whether or not XZ would play Yan Bing Yun again. Because as much as fame and name XZ acquired throughout the years, I'm not a fan of his acting. He can act indeed! It's not perfect but he can, it's just not my taste! And I loved JoL so much, I don't want the show overshadowed by anything else but the epic story itself. So I am glad they changed the actor... I'm up for it π₯°π₯°π₯°

Not possible. New regulations a drama can have only up to 40 episodes. Between season it is at least 1 year
I remember Zhang Ruo Yun's wife said in an interview "I've been waiting for JoL s2 ever since I was single, then married, then became a mother and it yet aired!" Maybe the next time s3 airs his son will soon be a teenager already π€£
I come to get in touch and just found out that they released the trailer 4 months ago, :') Mamamia! What a best way to start the year.... I was truly worry would be dead without watching this (hopefully) masterpiece get into the light
Currently in ep 4, get a pause for the infrared scene π€£ I never felt more old than this lol π I forget about that thing π
Btw, Me too would be pissed if my ex get to be a billionaire in a life that doesn't involved me and an absolute failure with one that involves me. I would feel like being cursed π
Just finished rewatching it, and come here to leave a comment for those who wonder whether it's a good one to invest your time in or not. Well, it depends! This drama was a very underrated one. Locally in SK, they even had to cut the episode due to its very low rating. But I personally found it enjoyable. I adore it so much that I gave it a 9! This drama is very slow-burned and chill, with a roller coaster of emotions. I just mysteriously love it. You might want to check one or two episodes when you have plenty of time.
Well despite my enthusiasm while waiting for it, I barely managed to watch 2 episodes π€£. The drama is good, I see they put a thoughtful effort to it. Much better if you didn't speak Japanese or familiar with the language. But I wasn't in mood. Maybe I will pick it up again later
I read the webtoon and it was one of very few contemporary setting comic that I managed to finished (I more into fantasy story actually). And I agree, although Na In Woo was pretty decent actor with debatable acting performance (Maybe because I watched him in 2D1N thus made me have a bit biased opinion not so supportive for the current role tho). I found him a bit miss cast. If I was the caster, I found someone like Go Kyung Pyo would match the vibes better. Well regardless, I still enjoy the drama tho. Waiting for tomorrow βΊ
You see, I just checking it before shower and then sleep. But they just dropped the whole lot ending. And I need to take the kid to school tomorrow morning. So currently I contemplating my life choices rn πΆ
I truly laugh in disbelief! πΆ how could a son of both intelligent human being turned into such fools?! I mean, even if the An Emperor is greedy and ruthless, he indeed have a bit of brain in him thus resulted in massive growth of his own empire. The empress also decent and righteous. Such a mystery lol π€£ I need to paused and reply his scene with the Baipan to make sure I don't hear it wrong
I cried a sad river watching Yang Ying grew so bold and make a powerful decision for herself. She has the best character development in all the drama I ever watched. Subtle, steady, reasonable, and satisfying. I am rooting for her! π₯°
Ps. That second prince seriously a pighead huh π
I never expected Deng Hui would slowly seep into my heart. Quite fond of the character and the actor. What a wonderful portrayal π₯° Rare case for me, a well known romance lover to give a f*ck the main character romance and put all my interest into the story. Ever since, both Ruyi and Ning was officially end game, I soon lost interest because many other things in the story grabbed my interest π I love the Princess character development. I love how consistent and annoying Li Tongguang was yet he still got a chance to grow mature without forcing his character development. Because it absolutely set difference between his development arc and The Princess development arc. Lately I do adore that unexpected romance between the duke daughter and Yu Shisan haha π Even as annoying as the An emperor that I absolutely loathed I still love his scenes last night. Their great acting make the actor that played Emperor Wu seems quite left behind. He decent tho, but uncomparable with the princess. What a beautiful ride!
