Tell me Rocky, why everyone kept thinking I watch the Fox Matchmaker or something drama just based on this one comment I wrote? 🙄 I don't even know what drama that is

I don't even trash talking this drama yet, just like what you stated, I agree with it because of both lead chemistry and my boredom that I am enjoying this drama. It's not even bad at all, I just found their problem solving logic questionable 😌

Wdym comes to the court trial full of confidence only with one scheme, cheaply predictable at that? What makes that elder princess think that revealing Jiang Li as Xue Fang Fei would do her favour?
Let's say, she was just a mad woman or anything similar... It doesn't make sense lay princess!!! You've been scheming and bothering the court all this year with that brain of yours? Screaming when you didn't get your way? Dancing on your way to the court hall? In front of all officials and the king? Even if he is just a puppet king (yet I saw no puppet master till this point), he is still the king! For your basic dignity as a royal, even if it is just an act, stop dancing in public, would you? 🤣
The way problems are solved in Xue Fang Fei's hometown too 🙃 very idealist eh! Bearable!
This drama is good, watchable, and fast-paced. Just frustrates me with the way they solve every conflict. Like, what? Just like that?
This elder princess didn't scare me at all, I feel like if I confronted her a little bit I could burn her in the fire. She's a very straightforward and open book. I rather face her than the other Elder Princess from next-door drama.

Honestly, it is enjoyable but rather ridiculous.
I found myself getting ready for this drama every single afternoon at the same exact time (it means I am excited about it). The drama didn't even fall into any mainstream trope I was tired of. Both ML and FL have good character design and amazing chemistry. But every time they resolved the conflict, I felt like, "Dang! Did they play Dumb and Dumber or what?!" 🤓

Quite productive, aren't ya? 😅

Maybe if I stop procrastinating, go shower and feed myself instead of staring at the clock, the drama too will stop procrastinate and ready to watch once I am full and clean 😂

If writing a good script like this is easy. We would have been pampered by masterpiece like this every single day 😅

FX was only 18 when first met TZQ. He might be older in the mind, but have been living in seclusion and simplicity of village life for 18 years. When he met TZQ, he finally feel some adrenaline and excitement after his teacher left him. Meeting with TZQ gave FX a glimpse of hope in his monotone life. It's like making friend for the first time. He also his first person. And FX yet to know what kind of world he living in. You could say half naive modern-minded guy.

TZQ death was a big punch for him. FX in season two would not run to kill Lin Gong blindly like what he did. Because FX in S1 yet to use with the deep of schemes he about to involve himself to.

We could say, FX as characters did developed beautifully.
It's not ridiculous, it's the way Wang Juan make his character and the plot move reasonably and I agree with him.

I don't know if it has any correlation with history or anything. But in my grandma old house or other relatives that lives in the old houses in rural villages, the floor often made of stones or I am not sure how to explain it, but something like mixture of soil and cement but not cement 😅 yeah, basically when the weather get hot the house and street would get dry and dusty. So in the afternoon my grandma will spray the yard and road in front of the house with water.
Some of my relatives in villages would do the same with their house floor.
Well, I saw alot of this practice when I was young, but not much today.

For both season of a series get 9 ratings is rare, isn't it? 😊 I enjoy this story too much, will rewatch both season in rows right after the summer holiday comes.
I will just locked myself in my home full of food, snacks, and beverages and only watching drama for 3 days straight! I might as well put my phone in aeroplane mode 😅

Princess WY is too dragged (I still rewatch it for the fourth time tho 😅), besides I like the ML in this drama more

I feel like the Qing Emperor from JoL lol 🤣 I got used to wreck my brain every day for two weeks in JoL and now I saw through the plot and each character intention smoothly 😒 what a JoL effect is this 🤭

Don't know how many times did I anticipate the plot will turned into those classic trope but it didn't! 😲
The plot and politic in this drama might not as complicated and satisfying as JoL, but it's good on its own way. Compared to other that aired recently. The fact that I excitedly waited for it every time I wake up in the morning 🌞

Still in ep 8, because morning already come and the boy need to go to kindergarten, but I'm hooked!
Although, I got bored lil bit with the mingyi scenes (maybe because I was sleepy already) but it still 👍🏻
ML and FL have their acting and character spotted on! 🥰🥰🥰
