FX was only 18 when first met TZQ. He might be older in the mind, but have been living in seclusion and simplicity of village life for 18 years. When he met TZQ, he finally feel some adrenaline and excitement after his teacher left him. Meeting with TZQ gave FX a glimpse of hope in his monotone life. It's like making friend for the first time. He also his first person. And FX yet to know what kind of world he living in. You could say half naive modern-minded guy.

TZQ death was a big punch for him. FX in season two would not run to kill Lin Gong blindly like what he did. Because FX in S1 yet to use with the deep of schemes he about to involve himself to.

We could say, FX as characters did developed beautifully.
It's not ridiculous, it's the way Wang Juan make his character and the plot move reasonably and I agree with him.

I don't know if it has any correlation with history or anything. But in my grandma old house or other relatives that lives in the old houses in rural villages, the floor often made of stones or I am not sure how to explain it, but something like mixture of soil and cement but not cement 😅 yeah, basically when the weather get hot the house and street would get dry and dusty. So in the afternoon my grandma will spray the yard and road in front of the house with water.
Some of my relatives in villages would do the same with their house floor.
Well, I saw alot of this practice when I was young, but not much today.

For both season of a series get 9 ratings is rare, isn't it? 😊 I enjoy this story too much, will rewatch both season in rows right after the summer holiday comes.

I feel like the Qing Emperor from JoL lol 🤣 I got used to wreck my brain every day for two weeks in JoL and now I saw through the plot and each character intention smoothly 😒 what a JoL effect is this 🤭

Don't know how many times did I anticipate the plot will turned into those classic trope but it didn't! 😲
The plot and politic in this drama might not as complicated and satisfying as JoL, but it's good on its own way. Compared to other that aired recently. The fact that I excitedly waited for it every time I wake up in the morning 🌞

Me too. I like to enjoy every single episode in steady pace 😅 then rewatch both season because I need to fully grasp the plot and details 😂

Seeing the title I have no appetite 😂 I like the season 2, I enjoyed the S2, I satisfied with S2, I am simply find my day exciting only with the fact that I would enjoy such a great story in the evening. So maybe later, after all of this adrenaline subsided 😉
