Finished this and liked it a lot over all. Great female characters and male leads. Good productions and acting. My only criticism would be regarding Ou Yang Xu's character.

I have since gotten to ep 35 and have enjoyed all episodes.

I also am not a fan of Earth's acting. But maybe its the directing because I didn't mind him in 7 Project. I wish he would try or be given different characters so I can tell if its him, or the roles he plays. I will try this and see how it goes.

Unfortunately after having this on my list for so long waiting for more eps to drop so I could binge it, I have decided to drop this. I just find the main character song writer so horrible and spoiled and always has a b***h face when he looks at any other male other than the coffee boy. I just can't take it and there seems to be nothing else to balance it out and hook me yet. Ep 2 and dropped unless there is anything really worth staying for, which judging by the comments, there isn't.

I just finished this one and looking at the synopsis of the 2nd it seems to take place with the new generation starting from the children in this one. So the children of the children of this one. I would say you may not need to watch this one to understand the second because its a completely new generation and problems and may only have some references from this one but overall you should be ok. But this was pretty darn good so why not watch both anyways?

Mon being in the car was most likely on the way back from Mork's funeral. He was in black clothing, there was a quick scene with a white urn and he was crying and talking about regrets.

I was expecting just the first kiss like this type of show always has the light lips touching kisses and Cherry magic did a kiss we didn't even get to see and this ML was in that show too so I was surprised we even got lips touching and then they did the next one! AND THEN THE NEXT ONE! LOL

Is this usually available with subscription throughout the year do you know? If so, I don't want to rush to watch it as I have a membership but if its not then I will have to make time and put Nirvana in Fire on hold (its so good I kinda dont wanna lol) Not enough hours in a day!

It's a GMMTV show so I wouldn't worry about a sad ending here.

The one thing I can't complain about is the cinematography and sound work. But the directing and script writing is lacking.

Yes I think this may be the crux of my disappointment. They sold it as one thing, but delivered something completely different. This story could have just as easily happened in their "own universe" and nothing much would need to change. Just 1%.

unfortunately I don't think the person they are responding to is either 1) mature enough or 2) aware enough to comprehend the point jpny1 is trying to convey.

They really don't care about writing a decent script. LOL
